Maybe 3-4 items i would consider buying on this "most popular" list....

I'll just leave this here, hang up and listen.

TJs Top 17

Spoiler alert - despite the fact that the TJ's cult claim that the reason they shop at TJ's is because it offers healthier and better priced options.....9 of the top 17 items are over priced cookies, some type of butter spread, candy or shitty wine.

Off that list I'd definitely try the guac (always on the lookout for a decent store bought one when I need a quick fix), the chicken burgers for a potential quick lunch at work, the corn salsa, the fake Chinese chicken for an easy dinner, and the spinach dip.

I just don't have much of a sweet tooth for things like candy or cookies. It does seem like a lot of what gets acclaim about Trader Joe's is the stuff that you would generally find on the "middle aisles" of the supermarket. You're supposed to shop the perimeter!

I think that's part of it. The main reason I shop there is bc it's all their own brand and they have a lot more options as far as "exotic" items than a Wal Mart would. I also like the prices and just like the smaller store feel. I can get in and get out with a full week or more of groceries and not spend 2 hours in there

The Guacamole, Spinach & Kale dip, Rosemary Almonds, Almond Butter, and Cookie Butter are items I'd definitely buy from TJ's if they ever open a Nola location. I went to the one in BR about 6 months ago and they (of course) were sold out of Cookie Butter.

I've been to TJ's 3 times in my life in various places. The thing I remember liking the most was their hummus. It was probably the best storebought hummus I've had.

Out of that list, I've tried the cookie butter and the corn salsa.

The cookie butter is pretty meh for how much its hyped. I wouldn't buy it again.

The corn salsa is pretty good, but it certainly isn't a real replacement for regular salsa. It's more of a condiment. Way too sweet to eat much of it with chips. Also, I'm not crazy about the price point for the size of the jar.

Only thing I've had from there are some ginger snaps and some of their coffee...both great.

I walked in once. Walked around. And walked out. There were way too many damn people for the small space.
This was not long after it first opened in BR. So I may give it another shot next time I'm around.

The ginger snaps are awesome--I put them in my travel bag as an effective & delicious motion-sickness cure.

But my fave TJs product is the sea-salt, dark chocolate turbinado almonds...like dis: LINK

I love gingersnaps, so I'm going to try these.

I'm hooked on these though I try to limit intake to a few after a meal. Just a little something sweet is all I crave and these do the trick.

It was a zoo for a while, but it's not bad now. Their Boatswain line of beer sucks big time, but the Mission St. stuff is not bad.

Yeah it can definitely be wildly packed at certain times. Especially during the weekend. I try to go during the week or at lunch to avoid it

The guac looked good to me on that list. Nothing else really on that list.

The spinach and kale dip is the only thing on the list worth a shite.

Why does guacamole need to be reduced guilt? What the hell are you people putting in guacamole?
