I really liked the kimchi tj's carried. I don't think that they will carry it any longer.

No kimchi, no care.

Trader Joe's, it was nice knowing you.

i've never purchased any of those items and we go every couple weeks

our list is generaly

- frozen chocolate croissants..excellent..you have to let them rise overnight then dip them in an egg wash but the results are are amazing

- frozen anything. seafood stew is my favorite but the frozen saag paneer & just about any random frozen item you pick up is delicious

- coffee. pretty good deal at $10 for 2 pounds of coffee beans. i love the dark roast.

- cheese. lots of great choices in mozzarella, hard cheeses, brie, etc. for under $5. try doing that at whole foods.

- shampoo (yes i said that) the tea tree shampoo is like $3 and its like rubbing vick's on your head its awesome if you haven't tried it. i even smear the excess lather on my a-hole & dick in the shower and when i rinse off, my body feels minty fresh all over

- flowers. the SO loves to buy flowers here because they're like $3 for a bunch..at kroger you're looking at $10+ easily.

- lemongrass/thai pepper mixed nuts. HOLY HELL you better have a glass of water handy if you eat a handful that contains a dried pepper in it

basically all of their frozen meals, especially the indian meals, are excellent. and that mandarin orange chicken on this list is delicious as well. we also buy their frozen pizza crusts and make our own pizza every few weeks at home.

Trader Joe's sux.

Faddish grocery store that sells decent quality stuff but hides high prices behind innovative pricing tactics (scams against the moderately educated who love newness and trends). Love the 35 cent bananas, when it's really $1.19 /pound meanwhile at Jewel Osco they are selling them for 49 cents/pound.

it's 18c per at my local one in NY. y'all are getting screwed

also, it's by far the cheapest option for grocery shopping in my area, so that's why i go to it.

as someone who shops at kroger, publix, aldi, traders & whole foods and is OCD about prices i can tell you that you couldnt be more wrong.

you have to be a little intelligent about prices going on (duh) but every store i mentioned above has some outlier prices.

nature's own 'honey wheat' bread is $3.79 at kroger and $1 at the dollar store. that doesnt mean kroger sucks, it means if you like this bread then buy it at the dollar store.

It probably means it's reduced fat or something, because fat is the boogie man.

I hated the corn and chile dip. Entirely too sweet. It'll sell a lot in Baton Rouge though
