Our market will be Temporarily closed due to some pricks breaking into our shop while we were sleeping at night and stealing every piece of our cooking equipment, along with 1000 lbs of boudin and sausage. We will be open as soon as we can replace the equipment. Please feel free to share this post, bc if anyone can locate who did it, I'm offering a $10,000 cash reward.

This sucks! Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!

I hate thieves!

Those bastards will be found. A thousand lbs of boudin and sausage will be hard to store and hard to move. And anyone in the food industry will be looking for them...and that equipment.

I'm really really sorry to hear that!!! No alarm or anything, I wonder? Jambo is such a generous guy. This really stinks.

That's really interesting to steal the actual cooking equipment. I don't believe my stereotypical race accusation is going to work on this one.

Here's the All Star facebook page along with Opie's original message. Looks like some of the equipment was custom made.

How does one go about fencing 1,000 lbs of boudin/sausage?

Crummy situation, but I'll be in line whenever they reopen. Really tasty boudin.

I'm never up there during the week to try it.

Well. Looks like a great chance to get rock bottom prices on boudin and sausage if you find the right people?

Stock up then turn the bastards in

I hate to hear this. I echo what everyone else already said about Jambo. He's a super nice guy. I hope he can reorganize soon. Thugs stealing a working man's tools is low. Real low.

Jambo, before you cancel any upcoming jobs, ask on here if you need a loaner pot, burner, and such. I don't have much, but I'm sure others might have some stuff also.

Thank you so much for the kind words guys and gals.

Insurance is going to make us whole, and I'm sure there is a special place in hell for anyone who steals a man's work tooks while he's sleeping at night.

Today truly sucked, but this thread was amazing

Man, you are welcome to anything Ive got until this clears up. Bossfloss@rocketmail.com

What a terrible act. As much as you offer and help folks around town, you shouldnt need for much. I may not have what u need... But smoker, double fryer, pots, bottles, etc are urs to use in the interim. I echo the "dont cancel a gig" dealio... We can find you what you need.

Yep. I'm sure you know plenty of people in the business, but I've got just about you name it to run an offsite catering gig of any size for everything but a trailered smoker.

And really don't hesitate to email.

Thank you so much guys. We're set for normal business with the catering building (they only broke into the new market, the smoker, and the walk in cooler).

Please know how much I appreciate you offering your help and good vibes.

Someone out there knows who did this, and I'm offering a $10,000 reward for their asses. If you can, visit our facebook page and share, share, share.

Taking the equipment and all that perishable product makes me suspect a former employee who might now be in the same business or connections to same. I'm no Jessica Fletcher, so I'm sure others have suspected the same.

Hope you catch whoever did it and get the gear back.
