Get married. That should allow you come in under the threshold and it will definitely save you money. But seriously, go talk to your HR dept, get registered for an online 401k account, and direct money to a target fund. Most of these online 401k sites are fairly self explanatory....
My logic dictates if one of those is going away first, its the Premier bonus. I think when you have a card for $450 up front you are going to have to keep that bonus up there, so I'm putting it off for at least 10 months if I can swing it to bridge it with an expiring Premier to keep the poin...
I just opened a amex open gold business last week for the 75K bonus points. Is there anyway to get this to southwest points? Transfer to a hotel and then to southwest?
Nothing that I would recommend. My advice would be to wait until January and apply for two of the 4 Chase SW cards a...

Nice. Not sure why I never clicked on that FT link before. I guess I had enough going on to ignore it. Just ordered one for myself. I'll do a test run and then get my wife one.
Rules are basically you can load, wait a week, load. $1k every 30 days per teen card. Cash out $200 every week. So ...

re: Credit Card Rewards and Points Discussion - LSUAfro
What do you mean by this?
To earn the SW companion pass you have to earn 110k points in a year. That can be through any combination of credit card bonuses, credit card spend, or flying SW flights. Once that 110k points run out, which for me was 6 months in to the first year, you can ...
No bonus on the DC. Lame I know.
That is lame . But you can keep it forever, so that's not a bad get in the long run.
This is the action I need to get. re: Credit Card Rewards and Points Discussion - LSUAfro
And that Citi Premier 60k is my next with another BOA Alaksa card if that offer is still available in 3 weeks. Might even tack on the 30k SPG Amex Biz card. Then I'll have to twiddle my thumbs for 6 months. I did talk 3 people in to the SPG amex for an extra 15k points this month so I decided t...

re: Would you choose $5 MILL in one check today, or $7.5 MILL paid over 5 years? - LSUAfro
That is probably because you are using 6 year annuities
Yeah I realized that after I plugged those in
Regardless, you do notice that those figures are converging from 10 to 20% right? Which is the point that I made. The higher interest rate surely has an effect here, as...
You are without a doubt incorrect here, assuming that both scenarios use the same rate
Considering 40% tax rate and I'm not factoring in NPV because it still isn't going to work in your favor, but feel free to do so. Lump sum at 10% [IMG]http://i58.tinypic.com/2wem97k.j...
