I decided to check out Siem Reap over Chiang Mai. May regret it, may not. Who knows. Can't go wrong probably. Mai is supposed to be awesome.
I'd probably do this as well.
Thanks for the input Afro. I'll be traveling with my wife. May just be better to get settled in Chiang M...
I took a flight from Manila to El Nido on a cheap carrier. Probably the most scared I have ever been in my life
I'd fly Air Asia in coach over just about any of our domestic carriers. Decent food, free beer, hot flight attendants. Sub $50 flights are pretty common on their domesti...
a little over 3 weeks, starting Dec. 27
I'll be there in January. Haven't picked an arrival date because I don't know where I want to go, but I know I'm heading home out of BKK on the 18th.
So I guess what my friend just told me is we would travel down to that Island by a mixture of bus/train/ferry and not fly into it.
Don't mess with a train unless you're in to trains. It takes up too much of your time. Intra-Thailand flights are dirt cheap and hotels are dirt cheap. ...
I literally just decided to pull the trigger on this with a friend because we both have time in August to do this.
Nice. I've been and I believe Sho Nuff actually lived in southern Thailand as well. It really depends on what you're trying to do in Thailand. There's really a lot of...
Hyatt points go so much further than any other reward program, and its not even a contest.
I agree. It's my go-to hotel just due to being able to easily obtain points through Chase UR.
I have acquired over 330K lifetime hyatt points and that has equated to at least 25+ free nig...
I got an alternate from MSY to YYZ to FCO landing 2 hours later than scheduled. I hope the book it, but they aren't exactly pros. I picture them all running in random directions panicking. ETA: Their new flight path is pretty amazingly bad. MSY to Newark to Amsterdam to Vienna to Ro...

It's a good card. I have it. Keeper card as well since it gives free night at category 4. Easy to get better than $75 value out of that. Better offer. [link=(https://creditcards.chase.com/lp/hyatt50)]Hyatt[/link] Add authorized user for an extra 5k points....

re: Credit Card Rewards and Points Discussion - LSUAfro
I saw that. I've got about 70k spg points but I also have about 400k AA points. Hah. I actually prefer to use my spg points on hotels now a days. I'm saving those spg points for Disney world with the kids since they started limiting amex cards. 40k points gets 5 nights on property. Better than ...

re: Credit Card Rewards and Points Discussion - LSUAfro
I'm unfamiliar with the legal side of using points for personal travel from a card that is registered under a business CC. I'd have to look in to who could use those points and under what premises they could be used. They have an attorney on here that should look in to that for you. ...
