re: Mad Men Series Finale - "Person to Person" - SCTmo
I guess I'm the only one who thought the Peggy/Stan thing was cheesy after they outed their love for one another.
Agree 100%. It seemed so out of character for Peggy. I'd be happy if the character actually had a realization in the moment like that, but it just seemed too fast in t...

re: Mad Men Series Finale - "Person to Person" - SCTmo
I think the ending is actually pretty straightforward. In the world of Mad Men, Don created (or at least had the inspiration to create) the Coca Cola ad. Note that Peggy explicitly mentions Coke in their phone conversation and mentions how Don would be welcomed back to McCann. So, we've been rem...

re: Mad Men Series Finale - "Person to Person" - SCTmo
Well, people were convinced that the intro was alluding to such. Watching it, you can understand why.
Except that the falling dude in the intro ends up just chilling in a chair with a smoke once the fall is completed. No one ever seems to recognize that fact. It's almost like the f...

re: Arrow: Season 3 Thread - SCTmo
Is this where Digs become the Green Lantern with that little hint.
Last night on the Flash there was a reference to Ferris Air shutting down because one of their test pilots disappeared so I don't think Diggle becomes the Green Lantern. Probably for the best - hard character to d...

re: NYTsports: Bill Simmons is leaving ESPN - SCTmo
Still nothing from Bill on this. I wonder when he comments.
Read the Miller article. Guarantee his info is either coming directly from Simmons or from Simmons' camp. He's had him on the BS Report at least once before and opened up to him quite candidly in the ESPN book....
I still find it funny that to this day Roger & Don absolutely hate Harry Crane.
Roger and Joan definitely hate Harry in all areas. re: Mad Men: Lost Horizon - SCTmo
Is it season 1 when he cheats on his wife with his secretary?
Yes, Rich Sommer talked about how the original plan was for Harry to commit suicide by jumping off the building after committing adultery. They clearly went another direction (a far better one at that). I think Harry...

re: Mad Men: Lost Horizon - SCTmo
I wish they had gone ahead and killed off Harry Crane as they originally intended at the end of season one so that we wouldn't have to hear about Don jumping out of a window for the next six seasons. Of course Harry is one of the funnier and more interesting characters so I'm happy they didn't kill ...

re: New Girl season finale last night - SCTmo
At some point (I think in season three) Winston became the best character on the show. Consistently hilarious. Don't like them going back to the well with Jess and Nick after how poorly it went the first time. Enjoyed the Schmidt/Cece stuff....
