We're(brother, sister and so) headed to Nola for the weekend before hit destin on sunday. I want to bring them to dinner for my brothers bday.

We're looking for great food with a casual atmosphere.

Give me your top 5 restaurants.

I would love to bring them herbsaint or peche or something of the like. I love Besh and Link etc..

Thanks for help

Peche is pretty casual? My wife and I have reservations the weekend of July 10, and I have been wondering what the dress code was like there.

How is Adelaide? We are going to brunch there that Saturday I believe.

Shorts and flip flops work well there.

For lunch, I would wear it and not care.

But, at times, I wear socks that cover my ankles as well.

I haven't seen Adelaide mentioned here good or bad or recommended by anyone in years. Of course, I could have missed it. Friends of mine at brunch there within the past year and were very disappointed. They were staying in the hotel for a wedding and it was convenient spot before they left. They're friends with Lally Brennan so for them to say it was bad, it must have been pretty bad. Could have been a bad day...

That's because it isn't good.

Favorite restaurant in New Orleans is Delmonico's, but it is not casual. I would go to Port of Call for casual, GREAT burger and even better drinks! Monsoon drink will put you back in your seat!

Yup. It's very far from casual.

I like the Sylvain suggestion, and I'm going to toss Red Fish Grill into the casual dining mix.
