Bumping this because my girlfriend and I are going to the aquarium on Saturday and looking for a good restaurant for dinner afterwards. Obviously, we'll be dressed for comfort coming from the aquarium so that limits where we'll be suitably dressed for.

Recommendations? Already ate at Peche, so looking for something other than that.

This looks right up our alley. I haven't heard of them before but the menu looks delicious. Would we be ok wearing shorts? I really don't want to go anywhere where we'll be noticeably under dressed.

You'll be fine even if other people are more dressed up. I've wandered in at night after day drinking plenty of times. It's not fine dining. If you can't get a reservation it's usually pretty easy to get a spot at the bar.

There's also Latitude 29, which is very close to the aquarium. I've only been once. It was during FQF and they weren't serving a full menu so I can't really say one way or the other other than a lot of the tiki drinks taste exactly the same.

And there's Angeline, which I haven't been to because I keep hearing such mixed reviews. I've been waiting to see if they get it together a bit better. I haven't been to Sac-a-Lait either.

We got a banh mi and fries at Latitude 29 a couple weeks back. They were pretty tasty. The ketchup that came with the fries had kimchi in it, which was a nice touch.

We had the fries and wings the night we went. We kept ordering more and more. They were tasty, but I enjoy pretty much everything when I'm hammered. So I hate to recommend anywhere based on anything I consume that drunk. I do want to go back at some point though.
