After finishing the floors this past weekend, we are some cleanup, landscaping, and an area rug shy of being finished with this project that really started with this thread after the wife and I kicked around the idea for a few months.

Anyway, less words, more pics
Before
During - Cover went up fast
concrete, kitchen/bar framing, and gas/plumbing was next
a drainage problem was noted
Then the stone
Completed stone with the hardy painted to match the siding on the house (incredible how perfect that came out)
Will probably replace the red lava rocks
But can't complain about the fire
Granite installed and appliances going in
Furniture added, as well as the river rock drainage ditch dug on the perimeter (my one and only manual labor contribution to the project)
Finally, floors (concrete overlay, with wave pattern and sealed stain)
And the current state. Still need to clean up the rocks the floor guys dug out to do the stain, add an area rug, and eventually some updated landscaping around the space.
(potato shot)
right next to kegerator
blue cans for company and the various workers we had running around
The tube is a water mist system that runs along the yard side and down the column. Column nozzles facing the yard for the kids (and hose drainage)
We are very please with how it all came out. This post is 50% look at me, and 50% informational if anyone is in the planning stages of a similar project.
Off the top, I'll say I am in the Houston area, and I used a company called Living Improvements. I doubt anyone else gets a call for the next project, as far as I'm concerned. Exceptional group.

I had every penny accounted for until the last few items. I'd say just north of 60k, which includes everything including the build, appliances, furniture, flooring, etc.
Original budget for the build was 40, and that came to 42.5. Original budget for appliances and furniture was around 15, so all in, we went about 4k over budget.

Two questions...
What two beers will be featured on tap?
What's the first meal going to be?
Nicely done!

I'm not jealous, I'm happy for you. Maybe if I keep saying that, I'll believe it.

I am going to stick with local beers as much as possible. Right now, I have Back Pew Hopostle IPA and Lone Pint Undead-head Ed ghost chili porter.

We've already been cooking like crazy. Smoked a bunch of meats on the primo, grilled steaks, burgers, veggies, chicken on the grill. I've used the side burner to sear steaks, boil eggs, cook pasta and stir fry. It's already gotten a lot of use. I've been living out there since the TV and appliances have been in.
