It's been 20+ years, and I can't remember if that is the place or not. Was comeaux's the place built kinda off the ground with wood floors, coolers all around the walls, and every kind/style of boudin known to man in there? I remember the little small links of boudin. Barely more than a bite. Can't remember the name of the place, but had the best boudin over ever eaten.

The best I've had was Bergerons in Port Allen but it's probably not as good as all the coonass locations mentioned in this thread. Im going to do some online shopping tomorrow.

I stopped at Billy's the other day and picked up some jalapeño cheese boudin wraps (whatever you call them). That right there is some damn fine eating.

I also like how he has a help wanted sign that says in order to work here you must pass a drug screen. Lol

Traditional boudin? I'm not sure. I like a lot of it.

NuNu's crawfish boudin is a favorite of mine.

My wife and I went on a road trip and tasted boudin from Mamou, ville plate, port barre and sunset...6 of the leading names mentioned in this thread and then went to New Iberia to Legnon's and the winner is Legnon's with T-Boys a close second! Go to New Iberia and see get us some...it's worth the drive!

I've had everything along I-10 West and Rabideauxs is by far the best IMO. I try to keep a freezer full of it.

Had to drive through on Sunday. I got a couple links. Pretty good. They obviously add the onion tops really late.

Best I ever had was in Mamou back in 92, but I have no idea where it was from. Was kinda disappointed in the boudin run I did a couple weeks back. 18 different boudins, and none really stood out. Janise's and Bourque's were our top picks, though.

Out of all these fine boudin establishments, which ones offer delivery to the Dallas area? I'm craving some links now.

That's what I love about the South. There are six pages of people talking about the best boudin they've had. In the North, there would be six pages of "What's boudin?" Heck, even my spellcheck is confused by the word.
