It used to be the Best Stop for boudin, Billy's for the boudin balls. For crawfish boudin I thought Bourgeois in Thibodeaux was just a tad better than Legion's in New Iberia. The only problem Bourgeois makes it just during crawfish season.

Recently someone told me about the little place in Jeanerette called G & M meat market. Terrific boudin, now my favorite. The cracklings are also the best I have.

If you are passing thru do yourself a favor and stop in. The owner has a bus route so for a few hours a day they are closed.

Billy's might be the best.

Here are two that aren't talked about enough on here, and I've had Billy's, Don's, Best Stop, Market Basket (LC), and others.

Cormier's in Jennings has some amazing Jalapeno Boudin. It's a close second to Billy's.

Cormie's in LC - Is about as good as Cormier's.
