My absolute favorite fried donut dough fruit thing.

I can eat five or seven of them, so I usually eat none - maybe two.

The frog legs at Delachaise are best in town, IMO. Well done.

16 oz PBR

I didn't try any cocktails. I didn't think it would pair well with the oysters.

It just seems natural that the Fatty Rewind (TM) would eventually lead to bathroom talk. One can only put so much in before something else has to exit.

We walked to Bar Vin. It's a pretty good wine bar in the Quarter, and Patrick is one of a kind.
Patrick is a character and his bar is fantastic.

$18 for a dozen oysters?

You need to be slapped.

Why do people still go to Columns? Their drinks are probably the worst in the entire city.

And nice job everyone making the entire thread about where to take a dump.

It's ridiculous over there. The microscopic West Coast oysters are something like $3 a piece.

I don't really know what the future holds for that place. Like Arse said, it's not a real market as many were expecting. It's a bunch of vendors showcasing for future brick-and-mortars. And while teh food's fine, I feel like the novelty will wear off soon and people will stop feeling the need to travel across town to go get lunch from this place when there are many more convenient options.

I've had oysters once this year at a restaurant. Chimes at happy hour.
But $18 for 12 Gulf oysters? Shoot me in the dick.
