Is this even permitted per NCAA once you have signed with an agent and lose amateur status? I doubt it.

to be truthful, i wish Myles Garrett would sit out as well. Way too much money to potentially throw away. He did his duty with us for 3 years, go make millions kid.
I'd feel the same about Fournette, Kid didnt pull a Clowney, he was legitimately hurt.

Are you traveling to Orlando to support the team?

Other than mccaffery are any of the other first round prospects sitting out their bowl games?

Following this line of logic LSU has had 4 losses since November 19th, why not quit then to get healthy and prepare for the draft?

I mean the guy has been battling the high ankle sprain all year. It wasn't likely he was gonna play in the bowl anyways due to his condition.
Yeah I think the whole situation could have been handled differently. I sort of wanted him to shut it down towards the end of the year and glad he did against aTm but would have been nice if he would have traveled with the team but I dont know those reasons so wont go there.

He should, at the very least, travel and support the team. I've been a huge fan of Buga and think he was robbed by not getting an invite to NYC last year... But i'm not going to lie, this move makes me lose some respect for the guy. You don't quit on your team like that. I don't care if you're in a boot on the sidelines and in sweats, he should be there to support his team.

No issues with him looking forward and trying to get back to 100% for the most important interviews of his life.. I do believe he should've waited to the new year to sign/announce his agent selection so he could've supported his teammates as a tiger.. maybe there is extenuating circumstances that we aren't aware of that he felt warranted this move.. in the end, it matters little as he is and will always be a tiger and I'm grateful he choose to spend his time in Baton Rouge

Well, he didn't play against aTm... I imagine he's been preparing and trying to get healthy since then.

Well, he takes the travel roster spot of someone who could potentially play when he travels hurt. So there's that.

The signing with an agent so early came as a surprise to me. Didn't Fournette say in his press conference that he WOULD travel with the team and support them? I could be wrong but I thought he said this. But signing with the agent gave up his amateurism which doesn't allow him to travel with team. Contradicting.

what part of not being on the sidelines to support your team do you not understand?
Posted on 12/20/16 at 10:00 am to Topwater Trout
he can still be on the sidelines

LF gave LSU fans some exciting memories and will go down as one of the greatest. I accepted his time with LSU was over after the Florida game and the no show for TA&M. He moved on, so should we. Good luck to #7 in the NFL and I hope he's not drafted by an NFC South team because I know the Saints won't select him even if he was available.

yeah, I've seen ppl post as though that isn't the case. has he come out and said he won't be at the game or something? if he is gonna be there, are there restrictions as to where he can/ can't be on the sideline due to him signing with an agent (ie can be on sideline, but can't interact with teammates)?
