Can you read?
Can you interpret? You made it very clear that he played for the Sugar and now that they are in a "meaningless" bowl he's justified in not showing up??
Like I said several times, he will probably be there, but stop justifying why he shouldn't be. You sound like a punk.

I fail to see how LF standing around on the sidelines for 2 weeks helps the team
if anything, it would just be a distraction

This statement proves you probably never played on a team and are selfish.

I played team sports my entire life.

A game against UF with a shot to still make it to the Sugar Bowl is more important than the Citrus Bowl. Yes. But that's not to say he would have even been healthy enough at this point to play in the Sugar even if we'd beaten UF. Did you see how hobbled he was against UF?

No?

why don't you be specific for once.
I don't even know what this means...but alright.

I feel LSU has done more for LF than he has done for LSU
Why? Fournette chose LSU over not just every other program, but over our most bitter rival. His coming to LSU not only helped grease the pipeline to recruits in NOLA, but his eventual days in the NFL will pay HUGE dividends for LSU for years to come. As for what Fournette got, he got exactly what he'd have gotten had he chosen all those other programs, with the exception of two less titles had he chosen BAMA. LSU is not at a loss for having allowed Fournette to play for us...

so staying a part of a team he committed to for 2 weeks isn't too much to ask
As what? An injured player who can do nothing but root for his teammates? In what way, other than making you feel something does anything tangible for his teammates?

do leaders abandon their team mates?
He did no such thing

How is this statement even in response to what you quoted? Lol. The guy who can't even think is trying to get in on the action. Cute.
It makes perfect sense in the context of a response to your ignorant and pussified statement.

Just so I comprehend your position, you argued that the Citrus Bowl is "meaningless". Then said that LF playing in the Florida game (while injured) is worth risking his career over.
Makes total sense

Literate enough to know that you are grasping for straws and know you can't justify him not being at the bowl game but keep digging a deeper hole with your pathetic excuses.

Oh no, the anonymous guy who can barely string together a coherent thought thinks I'm a pussy.
But please explain what is "pussified" (lol) about believing that a conference game against Florida with a chance to still make it to the Sugar Bowl is more important than the Citrus Bowl against Louisville.

Worth risking his career over? No, probably not. But I think his desire to play against UF shows that this perceived selfishness that everyone is whining on about is pure bullshite. That game was without question more important than this upcoming Citrus Bowl, though, for what it's worth.

LF playing in the UF game was purely an emotional decision.
He shouldn't have played.

Can anyone explain why I, as a fan, should be bothered by Fournettes decision to forgo his eligibility and sign with an agent before the bowl game (and his potential decision not to attend the game)? I don't really see why people are bothered by this. It's between fournette and his teammates.

He's saying its fine to put yourself out there and risk injury for the sugar but not the citrus. My point was (which went right over his mongoloid head), if you're looking our for your health and future in the NFL, why would you risk playing in any bowl?

lease get a semblance of some understanding please. The fact that he kept trying and trying to play shows the exact opposite of quitting. You are a gump in disguise. Pathetic.
Did those high ankle sprains playing co-ed pickup ball impact your ability to read and comprehend?

The people getting triggered are the baws that wear jerseys to the game. They live vicariously through LSU football.

For the 900th time, I'm talking about the Florida game. We have no idea if he would even be able to play in the Sugar Bowl (I'm guessing not).

I'll play. If the game means more to you and your team and program (See: Sugar > Citrus), maybe you'd go out and risk injury. I don't know. Players are motivat4ed for different reasons. But again, who's to say he'd even be healthy enough to play in the Sugar? My point is that the team still had a goal to play for (Sugar Bowl) when he went out and played hurt and tried to help the team against UF. Does that bother you?
