Why has the media and some posters here changed the view of Fournette sitting out? I mean the guy has been battling the high ankle sprain all year. It wasn't likely he was gonna play in the bowl anyways due to his condition.

Because he could have traveled with and supported the team even if he didn't play.

My point is that he had an injury and announced he wasn't playing. Now it's him never wanting to play for his team. And that's bull.

Amateur athletes exerting their power. LSU will appreciate him just the same when he donates 1 million dollars back to the athletic department...ie T. Mathieu.

So true, I don't blame for not playing but he should have gone to support the team!

If it were a meaningful game I think he shows up and plays. But I understand him not playing in a bowl many consider meaningless.

He is not a Team Player. Does not go to the Banquet and does not travel with the Team to give support. I do not care about his ankle but are you going to be a Team Player?

Yep. People are outraged that he isn't just sitting there injured wearing P&G while everyone else practices, prepares, etc. for a bowl game when we sit at 4 losses. They somehow see it as him disrespecting his teammates which is like disrespecting them. People think they're part of the team or something. It's a clinic in lonely loser old man outrage. Sad!

I'm not upset about it at all. Even if he goes, I don't think he should play. I can't speak for others though.

Would anyone even know the banquet happened if he had gone? There may have been 1 thread with 5 or 6 posts on it IMHO

I agree with Leonard Fournette sitting out.

He is four months away from being a millionaire several times over.

He's going to have a big house, nice cars, and a wife that will be on the same level as Charlotte McKinney.

He probably won't go to Orlando.

He probably won't watch the game on TV, either.

Is this the first thread started on this today? If so, congrats on being first out of at least 10 dummies today.

so he can't still attend the game? I didn't realize he was banned from the stadium by signing with an agent
