Anybody know of the best in BR or surrounding areas?
Jerry Lees and Ronnies. I prefer Jerry Lees. Their sausage, tasso, and head cheese is the shite too

Billy's for boudin balls and Johnson's for boudin. (Billy's regular boudin isn't bad either)
As others have implied, there are a ton of options.

Yeah I always hear good things about Bergerons. I've never had a reason to try them though.

Pretty solid plate lunches too. I'd put them up top with Poches and Nunus on plate lunches. Their boudin is just ok,and cracklins are usually a good bit better than average, but their specialty sausages are excellent.

r to Billy's and Kartchner's in Krotz Springs.
I've had Billy's boudin, but never Kartchners. I've read that Kartchner's has a good stuffed boudin ball. How are their regular boudin links?

I like the smoked boudin and boudin balls. I haven't bought much sausage there, so I can't say about that. I LOVE the smoked chicken wings.

IMO Best stop for the smoked boudin. Billys for the pepper jack boudin balls, and pepper jack boudin egg rolls. And Dons for the cracklin'.

Breaux's Mart (on Moss St) makes some of the best sausage IMO. They call it Grandpa's Sausage
But it is really awesome.
My wife loves Don's Specialty Meats for Boudin. Can't go wrong with Billy's as well.
