Best Stop for boudin. Billy's for boudin balls or smoked boudin. Don's has good rib eye sausage.

Hebert's in Maurice has awful boudin. Good specialty meats.

Billy's and NuNus have the best boudin around by a pretty large margin.

Hebert's in Maurice

Was there this past weekend and picked up a round steak stuffed with smoked sausage (ponce meat). Was incredible. Made a terrific gravy and their boudin is very good.

For me the best in BR would have to be Ronnie's, followed by Jerry Lee's. Both have no comparison to any of the top Lafayette links though, or to Billy's and Kartchner's in Krotz Springs.

The best sausage within close proximity to Baton Rouge is the smoked chicken sausage with jalepeno and cream cheese at Bergeron's in Port Allen.

i find billy's boudin links to be kind of plain. they are similar to jerry lees in rice - meat ratio but i think jerry lees flavor is better. now billy's boudin balls cant be touched...
