re: Has anyone lived in Albuquerque? Info would be appreciated. - specchaser
I've only visited the area once but loved it. Not sure how I'd feel about living there long term, but New Mexico has some beautiful landscapes and if your'e the outdoorsy type, you should enjoy it. ...

re: Any German Shepard owners? - specchaser
My aunt who has 3 daughters has had several. Great family pets, protective and intimidating to strangers. Downside seems to be health problems like a lot of pure breed big dogs. ...

Let's talk fly repellent - specchaser
I hate flies. I'd rather get the Zika from mosquitos than have flies buzzing me on my patio. What does the OB recommend? One just touched my ribeye and I'm pissed...

I also didn't sod my entire back yard and there was a large strip of grass that was covered w/ undesirable grasses and weeds s...

Another lawn/grass/weed thread - specchaser
My backyard which was st. Aug has been taken over by crabgrass. I've done some research and read old threads here. It looks like I need a post emergent now and pre emergent in winter. Any particular brand the OB recommends? Where can it be purchased? I still have some st Augustine but certain spots...

re: What kind of grass is this and how do I kill it? - specchaser
Yep. Dallas grass. You can dig it up. Or round up in heart of root. A healthy lawn will choke most of it out...

re: Tipping your Captain - specchaser
I usually tip 20% on an inshore trip. if trip gets cut short by weather or it's a really bad trip, a little less than 20%. I understand an offshore charter has 1-2 deckhands but 20% on 2500 seems reasonable.......

re: How much car insurance is enough? - specchaser
it depends on your stage in life, the assets you need to protect, and other factors. once I obtained a fair amount of cash and assets, I purchased an umbrella policy(liability and UM). it's not expensive. ...
