I do presume that if there is an aferlife it follows the laws of nature, yes.

I don't think that's unreasonable.
The idea of an afterlife basically requires the supernatural so I would presume the opposite.

Trying to understand/explain the afterlife scientifically is very unscientific.

I have grappled with all this. I have concluded thusly:

If there us no afterlife, you will never know, because it just ends. But, If there is an afterlife, you will know it.

So, there is nothing to worry about.

Your afterlife is in the minds of people who think about you after you're gone. Let's hope you inspire loved ones if you plan on having one.

I believe that the afterlife is more directed to one's soul than his brain. Science can't really help us on the knowledge of one's soul.

The After Life

This will tell you what you need to know about what happens to your soul once you have closed your eyes for the last time on this earth. Make no mistake, it is real.

Mother fricking thread.

Just like I had no idea what was going on before I was born into the world, I have no idea what may happen after I die.

A dementia pt does not lose memories. They cannot access them or new ones due to amyloid plaques that build up in the brain. Perhaps death just releases physical constraints of the body on the soul.

Yeah

What sickens me is how so many claim to know so much about heaven or the "supernatural", when in reality, they only know the breathtaking portrait of it their minds have painted for them

And what do you know of it? Why do atheist need to feel intellectually superior by arguing against things they know nothing of. Why are you sickened by someone elses thoughts of a utopian afterlife? You shouldn't give a shite. You guys seem like miserable arse people. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed. So, how can you say so absolutely that their is no afterlife. Who's to say what the soul is or isn't without the constraints of the physical body. How do we know our physical body isn't just a figment of our imaginations. In fact, the only thing any of is can know to be truly true and concrete as a reality is our own thoughts.
