Everyone already knows that Alabama has a mere 2 Top 25 opponents on its schedule this year, while LSU boasts 5.

Looking at what each teams SEC opponents have to deal with the week before reveals another disparity. Both LSU and Alabama have three SEC opponents who have BYE weeks preceding their games with them. However, 4 of Bamma's SEC opponents who play in the week before they play Bamma will be weakened by Top 10 opponents that week - while only one of LSU's opponents that play in the week before they play LSU will be weakened by Top 10 opponents that week.

Thus Bama not only gets weaker teams on average, on average the SEC teams they play will be beat up more from the week before.

I've got a 2011 vibe about 2013.

I hope you mean the 2011 calendar year.
Its my first year as a student at LSU.

I have a feeling they're going ---- ALL THE WAY!
(but hey, if they don't, I got three more years)

Geaux Tigers!!!
Blown up hedge funds are always looking for someone to blame (e.g. long term capital management)

My fiancee is about to start her first post college job, and the company doesn't offer any 401k match, etc. I'm not accustomed to this, so what should we do to save for her? Are there options to put pre tax dollars in? Yes, I know this is an incredibly noobish question, but I trust this place more than google. Thanks.

A tradiational IRA is almost identical as far as tax.

THough you might think of a Roth instead. You pay the taxes up front instead of at withdrawal - but it has the advantage that after 5 years you can withdraw the principle penalty free.

People know about leading with the helmet, but this is one rule that hasn't really been mentioned and will cause many F bombs to fly from fans, coaches, etc., at the end of a close game with time running out.

Very, very, very few games have a spike within 3 seconds of the end of the game - and only in a minority of those cases will the spiking team go on to win.

Its a really silly rule though if you ask me. Is it to end the debate of whether or not the spike got off in time? Well why not argue about whether it was really 2 seconds or 3 when the ball was spiked?
They are the ones who probably wrote the rule. The entire system is rigged in Bama's favor.

The automatic ejection for leading with the helmet will hurt LSU bad one day. Probably in a game against Alabama.
