Long time lurker. First time poster.
My company is implementing agile currently. I wasn't sure exactly who would want to have the scrum master role but so far it has been a mix of project managers, lead developers, QA testers and even an admin assistant.
So far it seems only the cool kids working on high profile systems have been agilified. Although we are all supposed to be assimilated at some point.
The company has heavily invested in consultants, training and an informational campaign so we are going full steam ahead.
I work on a monolithic system running on a mainframe so it is not quite clear how we can implement 2 week sprints with prod deployments on demand.
