Long time lurker.....they say the power grid can be hacked 3 to 4 times a year every year. However there are rules in place the prevent outages cascading. There are rules in place specifically for electric providers regarding cyber security. The federal government has CIP standards that require each company to monitor Computer logs, patch computers, back up systems and so forth. I’m not saying it is impossible but when we lost 30 generators during the ice storm most people had power. When we lost over 100 lines during hurricane Laura people in the northeast were just fine. So this is again the government trying to scare people. I’ll go back to lurking
