Season Ticket holder as of last year, Evan Gattis signed ball, Jason Grilli signed ball (both from spring training). Mallex Smith signed ball from Mississppi Braves game last summer. 1995 ajc world champs newspaper framed in my living room.
re: Is the Braves' move to the suburbs the start of a new trend?

Pretty tired of comments like this, I mean I could be wrong on this, but how much time have you spent in either of these areas? Sure if you want to walk downtown in Atlanta late at night, you're going to have some problems, but considering I have been a resident of New Orleans, Atlanta and Washington DC (spent a ton of time in Baltimore, but never lived there) they're like any other major cities, there are areas to avoid and there are areas that are extremely safe. It comes down to common sense and familiarity with the area, something most tourists don't have/won't acquire. On another note, I think for the most part suburb stadiums aren't a good idea, but for the Braves setting up in that Vinings area could work out very nicely. Turner Field has no where to eat/drink at outside the stadium, and would have never been able to convince anyone to open up a business in that area of the city. But with the Vinings area, fans can now atleast sit at some bars and restaurants in the hours leading up to the games. Traffic will be god awful.. But probably overall a better experience than Turner.

Download Waze to your phone, that should help you get around the Atlanta area traffic. Gonna be tough to make it in that time frame, might miss an inning or two. Mid-week game you go through StubHub or FrontRowTickets. I usually park in Orange Lot, shouldn't be too expensive to get a parking tag for mid-week game.

Yeah laughing their arse off that they gave up 4 years of control of Shelby Miller and 6 years of control of Tyrell Jenkins (a great prospect). For one year of control of Heyward, who probably won't resign with them and if he does it will be a massive amount of money.

If nothing else, I think this team will be more watchable this year. Especially with zero expectations going in.
Could be a fun July trading deadline if some of these veteran relievers we signed bounce back. Contenders are always willing to overpay for relief help in the stretch run.
Might spend equal time in Gwinnett's stadium as I do in Turner this year.

Actually stopped in for lunch today at the original one, owner said they were officially opening the other location tomorrow. The Big Pig was pretty tasty, as always.

It's certainly not likely, but good that we are doing our due diligence on him. His house is apparently only 30 minutes from Turner, so maybe there is a small chance he would take a minor discount to be around his family year-round.

If we can somehow get our hands on some outfield prospects that are near major league ready for Gattis/J UP, then you could be talking about a very quick "rebuild". The infield should be solidified besides 3rd base. Bethancourt, Freeman, Simmons, Peraza should be around for a while.

Would be an extremely expensive mentor but Lester could be great for the development of Teheran, Wood, Miller and Minor. Not to mention he would still be solid when 2017 rolls around.

The offseason is turning on a dime today. Still not great, but much better with these extensions/ avoiding arbitration hearings.

What are the chances the La Stella kid in Mississippi ends up being a decent second baseman in the bigs?
re: What to expect for starting salary as an Accountant

I'll be making $24 an hour as an intern for a Big 4 plus OT.
Was told to expect Mid-fifties coming out of school as base salary, and get a little bonus for having completed CPA exam. I'm in tax but I don't think Audit would vary much at all. Working in a large market in the South.
