I thought so too but then realized Geico is owned by Berkshire Hathaway, basically Warren Buffet. Made me rest a little easier at night.

re: Deals on Universal trip

One awesome thing too is that if you stay in one of the Universal Studios hotels, you get free front of the line passes. We stayed at the Royal Pacific recently and didn't find it to be too much more expensive than a regular nice hotel. They have a boat that will bring you right there so you don't have to drive to it and pay parking. The front of the line passes are worth their weight in gold especially if the park is going to be packed.
I second Calandros (Siegen), their prime is always well marbled.
Try Iverstine Farms on Perkins

If you're trying it through the website and that is where it's giving you issues, download the mobile app and do it that way. I could never get it through the website but got it verified with the first try on the app.
If an emergency does occur, they'll bill you. Then just get on a payment plan. That is what we had to do with ours. When we first got on high deductible plan with hsa, daughter had to go to the emergency room. We got the bill in the mail later for about 2k but set it up to just pay $100/month until it is paid off, that way we could use the money being put into the hsa to pay it instead of coming out of pocket any.
Sorry for your loss, prayers for you and your family.

re: 3 days in Asheville for Breweries

Posted by MFCEO on 6/21/17 at 8:13 am to
When i was there last year, after going to Wicked Weed (which was excellent), we walked to Bhramari Brewing Company which was right around the corner and it ended up being really good. Had a great barrel aged sour stout, best beer i had the whole trip.
I will add another thumbs up for Ricon who did a great job for us.
Been multiple times and it has been good each time.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations. I am looking forward to it. Last question, is it alright to bring the kids? Being it's a family vacation, it's going to be hard to venture out without them.

Breweries in Asheville, NC

Posted by MFCEO on 10/14/16 at 10:10 am
I will be visiting Asheville this weekend, are there any breweries that shouldn't be missed? Also, i will be toting 3 small kids, this isn't going to pose an issue will it? TIA.

After a quick search on the internet machines, appears it was a contactor, not contact. My bad.

Just had this same exact issue about 2 months ago with mine, ended up being a bad contact. Ended up costing a couple hundred dollars to have the guy to come out and fix and it only took him about 10 minutes

No.

re: You can now send someone a bag of dicks

I was reading about this yesterday on Reddit. The guy has gotten so many orders and isn't sure how to fulfill the orders. Y'all could be waiting a good amount of time for the people to get your dicks in their mail.

I live in that area and we always get ours from Louisiana Nursery. Prices aren't bad and they have a bunch to choose from. One year I want to go to one of those places where you can cut your own down but from what i've been reading on the OT they don't have any within a decent driving distance. I'll have to wait til the kiddos are a little older to make that pilgrimage.
Cool. I'll probably check out the menus of these places and decide.
Since it's anniversary i'm thinking of a more dressy atmosphere
I have a wedding anniversary coming up in about a month, thinking about going to N.O. for a night and am looking for a nice restaurant that would fit the occasion. Budget would be between $100-200 and we're open to all types of cuisines. Any recommendations? Thanks.
I also have ASI with a 1k deductible for hurricanes. I've never had to make a claim though so I can't speak for their service.
Yes, but you could always just buy them from yahoo so they all stay together under one account.

re: Car Rental Insurance

Posted by MFCEO on 10/15/13 at 9:40 am to
Was on a trip once and a buddy rented a vehicle and got the most expensive insurance that the rental car company offered. We all thought he was crazy to get the extra insurance but on the trip someone actually backed into him and caused quite a bit of damage. He was able to walk into the rental car company, hand them the keys, sign a little paperwork and walk away with no other hassle. I have never purchased the insurance through the rental car company because my current existing insurance covers me but for him it worked out to perfection for him on this trip.

re: Watermelon Oreos

Double Stuff is the perfect oreo. I once tried the Ultimate Stuff (i believe that is what it was) and I didn't think it could happen, it was actually too much of the stuffing. Berry Blast, those are garbage. I got through about 3 of them and threw the bag away.

re: I'm tired of working for someone else.

I am in the beginning stages right now of getting started with a business. I was able to find something in my day job, more or less, a better process to do something that I believe would benefit the masses. I am trying to take that and basically make a business out of it. There is no guarantee that any of this will work but the thought of not trying it and wondering the rest of my life what would have been killed me so I am just making the jump.

I was there about a year ago and me and the wife went to CraftSteak in the MGM Grand. Solid steak just not worth what we paid.

re: Disputing credit card charge

Posted by MFCEO on 8/25/13 at 8:11 am to
The one I used was a VISA. I got lucky however and the company I had the issue finally responded to one of my many emails after about a week and they are going to refund the money with no issues.

Disputing credit card charge

Posted by MFCEO on 8/21/13 at 1:04 pm
I have a situation where a company didn't provide the service they were supposed to and actually weren't supposed to charge my card but still did. What will happen when i file a dispute on this charge? I'm assuming they will investigate it but how long does it usually take? What i'm worried about is that the company they will investigate it with is so big that they may get the run around like I have and I will be stuck with the charge.
