They are used to the Army Brat life but it sucks. You know how much fun the neighborhood is for all the kids. I just hope they can find somewhere the kids will enjoy as much. I have yet to hear of any developments as to where they might go. He is having fun spending time with the kids and family. God always has a plan.

Wow...have you heard stories about recruits before? A lot of these kids don't have dimes to rub together and you would tell them you can't help them eat or get from the airport? You have to help them find clothing (suits, shirts, ties, and dress shoes)from other team members because you can not pay for it or get it donated to them because of the rules. Somethings are just human nature for GOOD people. All that being said even the NCAA would not view this as anything more than a minor secondary violation.
He has nothing to lose by telling me the truth. He does not have anything to hide. Just wait till you hear the findings.

There is something to it but it is not serious. That is what I am trying to say. He will be able to find a job after this I do not expect him to get black balled.
If you think he is a bad coach that is fine. I for one dont get paid what he does to coach football so I dont know.
Please keep in mind this is a man with kids and a wife. How would you like half truths and mis-information to affect your life. He is already getting a raw deal from what I do know...and if he was a bad coach just let him go...

Stu I have always liked your posts. I normally do not get involved in posting as most everything is speculation but I hate to see a good character guy getting dragged in the mud for no reason.
I cant say too much as it is an ongoing thing. It does not involve an apartment for Hicks. The student is Hicks but the nature of the violation is very very small. It has also been mentioned that when they see what happened there will be some vary serious questions asked as to why he was fired or forced out for this. The man has very good character...he goes to church every week with his family and loves his children. He made a simple mistake in trying to help a kid. It will come out that the level of the violation is no where near what most think. He is a clean recruiter and he makes promises to look out for the kids while they are away from home. He did what any good nature christian would do. What other questions do you have. He cant talk about the details as it is still on going.

I think we can do better. But always be careful of what you wish for. He would be stupid not to listen even if it is for leverage. People forget Les turned down more money from Boone at OSU for a chance to coach a team like LSU. He is class but I think he is a loyal Michigan man from what he says. He makes enough money here there or wherever. Why not go home? The sad part is I know these coaches that come here and this happens. They have houses in different states and mortgages and will potentialy have to move again. It is a hard life and they deserve the pay.

I would beleive non of it. Like the other day I knew TH would not play. I would not say anything about it as it is not my place. I will not devour my peeps and their confidence to make the rant or the coaching board happy. What is the point.
These people know nobody of interest. All they are hearing is rumors from third party sources.

I tottaly agree. I personally know three coaches at LSU. OC, DC, and WR I would not ask nor tell you guys anything. They work from 7 in the morning till midnight seven days a week. They dont have time for this crap or want to talk about it.
