Tate was at South Carolina....they are still the "gamecocks" right?? That could be controversial...
Nov 4, 1972 I was listening to WWL in rural Nebraska (nothing else to do on a Sat night when I was 15). John Ferguson & Walter Hill were heard clearly (the weather must have been good!) describing Bert Jones' TD pass which tied the game with 2 sec left. The roar of the crowd got my attention and I wondered what kind of magical place Tiger Stadium must be?? Lived in Nebraska and Minnesota for many years still listening whenever the weather was good and attending games in TS whenever I could. Moved to NOLA in 2011. Always a Tiger!

Ron Franklin on ESPN Prime Time - I remember him calling 1997 LSU- FLA game. Got up at 3 a.m. to watch the replay!
Check periodically in August with www.crescentcitytigers.com (Alumni group in New Orleans). In the past I believe they have organized bus trips to games.
