re: Your favorite restaurant fries

In BR? Leroy's has excellent poutine. The gravy is on point.
It won't kill you. Worst case scenario is a moderate case of the runs.

As for non-firearm free zones, yes it is legal, open or concealed in your vehicle

Just to clarify, is this true without a concealed permit?

Also, does having window tint affect the legality of concealing a weapon without a permit? You can't see through my front driver and passenger windows at all.

Probably the best restaurant in New Roads IMO. Haven't been in a couple years but my favorite dish was the portobello ma mamas. Large portobello cap topped with fried crawfish tails and cream sauce. Great shrimp and grits too.
Shipp's Harbour. Great seafood, steaks, and sushi. It's in a marina with a nice view of the bay.

The little Mexican restaurant next to the old New Generation is pretty damn good as well if you want an option in that part of town

Are you talking about "Tacos y Burritos"? I pass it everytime I go to Anthony's and wonder if it's any good. Can't help but chuckle at the super-authentic Mexican name though.

Desperado's. Great place for a steak and a lap dance. The crabs are free.

is it gonna be ready by september?

To clarify, September 2014
He does sign a lot of them so they're not hard to come by. $300 is a fair retail price. Saw a framed, autographed Cannon jersey at a silent charity auction go for only about $180, but that was in Lafayette and most people were pulling out their wallets for autographed Hudspeth merch...

Concealed carry courses in BR?

Posted by T-Tiger on 6/12/13 at 11:07 am
New here. I know this question has likely been asked before but I couldn't find anything on it. Been wanting to get my CHL for a few years. Wondering what you guys thought was the best place in BR to take the course. Not looking to pay out the arse, but I am looking for a well-respected program. Any input is much appreciated.

Good catch, but it is pretty routine as mentioned

I'm not sure "routine" is a proper adjective here
