This thread just seems like bad luck.
Sheesh, it's amazing how many people have trouble discussing baseball with fans from another team.

We're the best fans in baseball.... well, that is until we are granted the anonymity of the internet. Then we're a bunch of dicks.

My sadness for the future of this dying sport has nothing to do with how I think of myself.

I do have incredible cheekbones, but all things considered I am probably average.

I never realized until this past inning that there are so many on here that know nothing about baseball with all the moronic substitution questions. It was painful to read. Jesus!

Yep, and considering that this is likely the best fanbase in college baseball it just demonstrates the terrible decline of baseball in America. I heard a stat a few years ago that the average MLB fan is 51 years old. Not good.

Sifting through these messages has felt a lot like all of my buddies' girlfriends created a message board to talk baseball. It's cute and sad all at the same time.

Not always. On average, there are probably about 5.996 outs in an inning.

Fair? Atlanta has Roddy White and Julio Jones. With Tony Gonzalez for good measure.

What does that have to do with Lance Moore? Is his skill set contingent upon Atlanta's receivers?

I'm of the opinion that Moore has skillz and many/most teams do not know how to utilize them. The same could be said for players like Sproles.

I think some of you guys are being unfair to Lance Moore.
Anyone else worried Rob Ryan was simply helping his old buddy drive up the price for the 49ers?

I'm not sure this possibility is as far fetched as people believe; however, I still think we go defense.

I pretty much agree with this. I think some people are overreacting to the suggestion we go offense. It's happened before. And pigeon-holing itself into a position/unit has led to some bad draft picks by the Saints and other teams around the league. The simple fact is that whoever the Saints take with the 1st pick probably won't have a huge impact on the defense in 2013, regardless.

I think we go defense - and I think we should go defense - but some of you act like it's unprecedented to reinforce a current strength.

Haha, I know. Just giving you a hard time.

Ehh I guess you're right. I think we'll keep Greer but all of our other corners not named Lewis is expandable

Hmmm.... Elaborate.

I knew I was right when I posted a seven on the 1-10 scale in being confident that we would bring Nnamdi in.

Smug bastard.

Am I misunderstanding your post? Are you calling PRob proven? If so, I think you are very wrong. You could argue he is disproven.
I don't even know how to watch LSU baseball without the GeauxZone camera planted immediately behind the catcher. It's a whole new world on CSS. Pitches have movement!
Not a fan of Jones leading off. I don't know why the idea of Rhymes leading off and Katz batting cleanup is so blasphemous.
Mitchell tops off at 97 mph and walks 1 per inning. This should be fun.
