Dem guys are headed up to "shoot da doe!" They don't like to work hard around their turf to shoot da deer. They gonna go up there to kill dat easy doe!
Also another dead giveaway of a mallard hen is blue patches trimed in white on her wings. No blue on Gadwall wing. Would love to be out there today but some of us have to work. Good luck on ur next trip hope they are all repeats of this one!
Sorry to rain on your very good hunt Athletix but that is not a hen mallard. It's a hen Gadwal. They look very similar but a hen mallard is usually a little bigger and has a full mottled belly. Just want to point that out. Great story and hunt congrats!
U are absolutely right about that! But surface drive mud motors are a status symbol as of now! If u don't have one " U ain't a real duck hunter" lmao! Grow up kids ain't many of them could hang with us older generation still today the way we hunt!
Don't forget to bring a few extra thermoscell a to the blind because it won't be any fun without them!!

re: Any auto A/C guys in the house?

Hammer time is right Blend door actuator. You tube it take it out and take it apart. Clean out all that grease in there and put it back together. Did that to mine been cooling for couple years since.
Had a skunk set up camp under my house for bout a week. Tried to trap him no luck. Ended up putting a radio with loud music and flood lights under house! It worked! But U have to keep that in place for bout a week after he leaves because I took my stuff out too early and skunk came back! So I would suggest turn on all backyard lights and add some loud music might be disturbing a bit but better than smellin SKUNK!!

If you don't have a hunting or fishing liscense and going to any WMA especially Tunica better have a louisiana wild stamp or you will get a ticket! Even if you just get out of your truck on side the road. Know that from experience!
Have you ever seen a beaver's tail!
re: yamaha 25 prop
Posted by Bronco on 4/5/15 at 10:06 am to Moparman821
It might not be the weeds that's making it blow out. I had a prop on my 30 yamaha doin the same thing. It ended up being the rubber bushing slowly goin out. I would stop and reverse because I thought I ran over grass but knew I didnt. Gradually got worse till I figured it out. Luckily had a spare prop in the deck when it blew out for good!
re: OB Mechanics: 06 Silverdado white smoke from exhaust
Posted by Bronco on 3/5/15 at 3:06 pm to PillageUrVillage
I have an 05 silverado and like to keep engine compartment clean also. Once after washing engine mine did the same thing and I didn't think I was gonna make it home. After a bunch of Internet search and trial and error. I was able to determine it was water and corrosion on a few of the bottom terminals on the computer. Undid battery cables unplugged large computer wire and sure enough I could see the corrosion and moisture on it. Cleaned it up with a small wire bristle brush and a blow dryer. Runs perfect now and I will have to live without cleaning my engine!
re: Anyone here use a prong collar for training?
Posted by Bronco on 2/13/15 at 1:34 pm to KosmoCramer
Its amazing how quick a young male dog can learn commands when the prong collar is used with training sessions!! Enough said wouldn't try training without one.
Jeffsdad, a family member of mine just went thru the same thing with his pet beagle. Dog was so bad he he couldn't move. So he took him from outside and kept him in a baby bed to take care of him. Friend did research and ended up bringing dog to a chiropractor a couple times. Dog recovered and is 100% now. My friends name is Mat and you can call him at this #225 445-1934. He would be glad to tell you his experience with his beagle. Good luck hope he gets better soon!
