I am pleased to inform you that the "DC LSU Scholarship Fund and Tiger Tee-Off" website is now up and running! Check it out at LINK. Check out, also on the home page the links to Facebook, Linked In and Twitter. And be sure to sign the website's Guestbook! Better yet, tell others about this website!

The purpose of this website is to be a one-stop source of information for all undertakings, including fundraising, for the LSU Washington, DC, Alumni Chapter's Scholarship Fund. A variety of fundraising activities are being planned for people from all walks of life, including families with children.

The biggest fundraiser is going to be a golf outing, known as the "DC LSU Tiger Tee-Off!" It will take place on Monday, May 19, 2014. It will take place at the beautiful, exclusive Evergreen Country Club LINK, located in Haymarket, VA. Tee time will be at 10 am. If you are interested in playing, want to help in any way, make a donation to the Scholarship Fund, or most of all, be willing to donate a prize or be a sponsor for the Tee-Off, please contact DC LSU Tiger Tee-Off Chair Norm Marcocci (MPA, 1988) at either NormM@alumni.lsu.edu or (703) 376-1631, to discuss the logistics further. We need all the support and help we can get! :geauxtigers:

Other planned fundraising activities include a King Cake Scholarship Kickoff Party, Trivia Night Contest, Jambalaya and Gumbo Tasting Contest, and an on-line auction, where you can enter as often as you wish for a nominal fee each time, chances to win a authentic, autographed Billy Cannon helmet and jersey (both in a frame), autographed 16 x 20 Patrick Peterson photograph, LSU purple Vineyard scent candle from Yankee Candle, and other LSU wannahaves.
