re: Worse hire, Jimbo or Kelly?

Whats even more depressing is the AD that hired them both is LSUs present AD. I'm afraid to see what his next "big" hire would be.
I take it that the "A" is for arse...arse Lite. Good name for you. You realize LSU is coming for the Tide and it won't be long. Saban is losing his edge just like the Bear did at his end. That last play in the Michigan game is proof...that was an arse Lite call.

You must not know anyone in Louisiana. The people of Louisiana are our greatest asset. And the shite storm that woke Colorado is...you have no business judging any state/people.

As I hope you would understand...Money is not every thing in life. The most unique state in this great country is made up of passionate people that love life, great food, college sports and perhaps most of all LSU football. TO ALL WHO PUT THIS STATE DOWN...Y'ALL CAN GO frick OFF!
I'm a always on the train...On or off the tracks...L S U!
re: Football Off-season thread: Earliest memory of being in tiger stadium?

it was 1960 or 61 against Tulane in Tiger Stadium, i was 6 or 7 and have it on 8mm film. honestly i dont remember it but i do have proof i was there.
having a offensive "coordinator" like peetz (who shouldnt have even been in the state much less in tiger stadium) did not help this young man + a makeshift offensive line all season did not help his development. he hung on to the ball a bit too long several times trying to make a play but had some great moments. the dip shits armchair qbs that think they could do better should have thought about the situation a lot more before commenting.
Les Miles...

in the bama game miles had a qb that was on his game and a bama secondary that was wasnt on theirs. in the clemson game his qb wasnt getting it done with a running back that was. by that time in both games a head coach should have some grasp of the situation and KNOW the right call. miles did the wrong in both.

re: How many of you still haven't seen highlights or clips from the failed NC?

I watched the entire game down to 0:00, never saw one highlight so no reason to ever watch anything related to it. and never will.

College football, especailly Southern College Football is about Tradition. Universities change their logos or uniforms to create new interest in a losing or dormanant program. Look at the tradition powers of college football...USC, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, etc. they havent changed a thing. Toonces has to go, i havent bought a toonce item and will not buy one. For sales of merchandise i can see modifing a logo...but leave the uniforms alone...They are L S U
