Recruiting gurus: what is the consensus on Shea versus the rest of the 2016 QB recruits such as Belton, Franks, Veal, Wallace? After this weekend with winning the MVP for the bootleggers where is he ranking in terms of top choices for Cam and the "experts"? Although he is currently committed to Arizona (which he has family there coaching), a close relative stated to me this evening "pretty sure he is choosing them (LSU)". Obviously a long time for this to play out and whomever, if any, top QB we will land in 2015 might change things around.

question for any Lake Charles or general in the know folks: was at a basketball event recently in the LC area and talks started on Quinn. 'People' that were commenting on the matter have said he has slowed on LSU and leaning A&M. With him stating why would I want to go to LSU and get 30 passes all year when I could get that in a few games! Have any of y'all heard quality news on him? Thanks - I do realize along ways till Feb '14.

The tailgate with the large white tent, fog machine and strobe lights is run by some Kappa Sigs Alumni from a few year back.

Was talking to a bama alum yesterday about the new recruiting classes and next year. I mentioned their QB situation for next year and referenced it to ours from this past yr with Lee and Jefferson. He corrected me and saying they have someone (not Jackson) that has experience. He said the kid was from Plano East in Dallas. Does anyone know this kids name and how good he is? Thanks for the info

Good buddy went to the game. He had never heard about RS but found out he is committed to LSU thus asked me about him. He said he was the best HS player he has ever seen. "crazy fast and best player ive ever seen"

FWIW.... Pratt's Navasota 7 on 7 team is about to play Crane (w/e thats located)in the Texas 7 on 7 championship at Kyle Field.
I did not get to see him play but some of the A&M strength coaches and others were talking him up along with the WR they have committed to play at A&M.
