That link does not talk about actual 2015 game dates..I'm looking for a timeline on next years game weekends

I went 2 years ago and asked the same questions here. It was OK at best. I had no problems with cops and I walked around everywhere on campus with drinks. We stayed in Gainesville in a sweet house that we rented off of VRBO. It was walking distance to everything.

The tailgating is weak and spread out. Not real dickie but not as friendly as other places. If you are young 20s then the bar scene is pretty good but the bar "The Swamp" was very disappointing..its get alot of hype but is tiny and uneventful.

You will havea decent time but not like other road games

The reason I ask is because i thought once they release those then the tickets on Stubhub and similar sites will go down. Now the cheapest is like $185. I went to the Florida game last year and the price was less than half of that. I hope it goes down , but maybe not.

Wow ....lots of jokes. Thanks for the info. I didnt know so many of you posters were such big fans of drinking and driving. Im coming down with a group that I go on a football trip with every year. I see no other way to make it happen unless there is shuttle service.

Are the prices for the UGA game so high right now because its so early and they havent been released yet?? I went to LSU @ UFlorida last year and it was about half the price?

I have a group going from RI. We are staying in Atlanta. Last year we went to Gainesville and rented a house on www.vrbo.com . It was a great deal and location. Before I booked Atlanta hotel I noticed a bunch of condo rentals in Athens. It might be worth a look.

If rooms in Athens are sold out try vrbo.com. I rented a house in gainesville last year for a good price. I saw some condos in athens available for the weekend. Im staying in Atlanta and driving in for gameday.

Thats what everyone said about Gainesville and that was my trip this year. Gainesville to me was just a college town with no charm or personality. Im hoping Athens is more like Knoxville.

Makes sense..if it was home and away it would be too long inbetween to play certain teams. I just home LSU gets a good team on the road for a road trip..Id love Georgia

Ive been to 3 games in my life lsu,knoxville,and UF yesterday. I was expecting the worst after reading the board. Overall the Florida fans were nice. Not close to as hospitable as LSU fans or even Tennessee for that matter. I only saw a few meatheads Saturday night downtown that were yelling. In fairness I doubt they were students or alumni they looked like local losers up to no good.

Coeds were by far the highest quality Ive ever seen. Stadium was very loud and a great atmosphere but too damn hot. Its was terrible.

I was a little surprised that i saw very few LSU fans out and about on friday night. When I went to knoxville..LSU took over but yesterday their werent enough of them for my liking.

LSU-UF will both be undefeated. There is a small chance that Tenn beats Georgia this week. They pick tomorrow. Im thinking LSU-FL.

CBS has 1st choice of sec game. I hope they chose lsu-uf but they could take usce-georgia. Whoever is not the cbs game of week has a great chance of gameday. I think the other option for gameday is WVU@Texas..I think..I looked it up last week

Seems like the October 6th hype is starting early. Does CBS choose LSU/UF 2v14 or Georgia/SC 5 v 7?

They will have Mizzou v USCe this week and most likey Tenn/georgia the following. Would they want the 3rd week to be SC-Georia or take LSU for the first time this year. I think 50-50. Id like to hear from someone who knows more than me.
