Sup guys!? I've missed youuu!! I give my apologies for a quick and long departure, but had a heatsink go out unexpectedly, tried a new one that apparently was borked from the manufacturer and lost my cpu in the process. Got a new cpu and back up and running! What's more is that I have 6 days off again! WOOOO!

I have a link somewhere thats on the official GW2 wiki, try to search combo fields and see what that comes up with. Dependent on whom starts what kind of combo determines how you finish said combo. IE: some type you have to be within when you use your ability to activate the combo, other combo fields your character has to jump through them.

Yeah, I suppose that time wasn't a very other-time-zone-friendly time to get started. Even worse yet, I wasn't able to get on today until late late late(around 10:30) due to some fatherly duties that took a tad longer than expected.

On that note - if we try to get together say around 6:30-7:30PM CST to form up - would that help make it more do-able or is that worse? If you don't mind, please post here if you plan on making it! If there are no objections by that time tomorrow and peeps are on we can get started!

I'd definitely see if you have any updates for drivers. What type of system are you running AMD/Nvidia on-board or it could be a few other types? Laptop make and model number if you aren't sure and we can find it. An easy way to have your FPS always show is to download FRAPS(you can set it up to use the on-screen display[OSD] only by disabling all the other features). Personally I love MSI afterburner( Link) it is incredibly customizable and last time I checked it worked for all types of graphics processors/drivers to display FPS and other data on-screen. Actually, I lied - the easiest way to see your FPS is to have your options open while in-game and it tells you in the bottom right corner of the screen.

As far as in-game settings go if you are looking for a great boost to performance start with the "Settings Preset:" under Options> Display> Advanced Settings set that to "Best performance". Then go up to the top of that same page and make sure resolution is set to full screen. After that go through all the advanced settings(other than the preset you changed earlier) and make each one either "Low" or "None" except for where it says "Render Sampling" you want "Subsample" or "Native". Last you can try unticking all the stuff at the bottom(esp. hires textures). FPS of around 20 is actually playable, lol.

P.S.: Almost finished with mah [WarS] project(s)! I hope it'll really simplify some stuff for us as a guild.

I got on last night, man it was dead! Got on today, little later than expected, but it was a little before 4PM CST. Few guys are on doing stuff, not enough to do any runs, so no biggie!

I am going to log off for a bit to do some work on projects for [WarS]. If you guys that are down for runs end up getting on, if you don't mind, post here so I know to log back on. If I stay logged in while I'm trying to do something productive....well, let's just say it's never good. :nana: :spank:

Between that and work being nuts I have had little time to GW2-it-out the last few days. I have almost beaten Dishonored, so not much more of that consuming my time!

Also, on a brighter note, I am off work for 5 days!!!! WUWU!!! I will def. be doing a lot of GW2 action! I am also working on a few projects to try and help us organize resources and information for GW2 and for our TD guild [WarS]!! :bow:

NOTE for any interested in getting story mode(SM) done for dungeons:

In light of the aforementioned 5 days off work I will be trying to put together guild groups every night around 9:00CST(hopefully we can crank out at least 2 story modes a night for those that still need).
SO for anyone interested in helping/doing runs or needing SM runs and available any of the next 4-5 nights starting October 13th - Saturday night - I am going to put together guild runs to -

Primarily get the prerequisite for explorer modes - story mode done for all dungeons as much as we have those that need it. I still need a few SM runs myself actually(I think the last 2, maybe 3).

Secondarily - run WTH ever anyone else wants to run!! Definitely does NOT have to be PVE only, if peeps wanna rape up some PvP or WvWvW - I'm game!

Basically I am lonely and want to spend some QT with some guildies.

Was talking to Rukky (Dourden - I think, on these forums) about getting some kind of group(s) together tonight to run as much as people want/need to run. I am definitely down to run whatever people need/want, I am going to assume/force merrik/doldil is coming, hopefully Rukky too. Who else wants to knock out some stuff tonight? Anything is game!

I just finished making my exotic set of heal gear/heal weaps, so I'm ready to keep us alive! Or try to anyway. Holla at me if you are interested in having gear/weapons made - of course I'll make them at cost of mats no charge for guildies.

Btw Doldil - I need to employ your jewelry making skills for some lvl 80 heal trinks. Also - you have mail.

The Black Lion Trading Company data comes from a server separate from the game servers and is actually hosted on an apache like server(same stuff that makes up most websites!) meaning that you can actually log in with your account details and poll said server & it will return for sale and sold data!!!

Maybe this isn't news to you guys, but omfg! it is to me!!!

In response to Mr. Sick Freak, all ya need to do is check out the glory rank 1 merchant in the Heart of the Mists zone & buy a PVP salvage kit. This will allow you to break down pvp items(except the free ones) into various component materials needed to "craft" pvp gear using the mystic forge. You can also purchase "tokens" from said vendor that are specific to each slot(ie: head, feet, etc), I think it works the same way with weapons, but I could be wrong there.
