the recommended daily dose of sodium is between 1500-2500. according to that picture a 5lbs serving of boiled crawfish has 10x that!

I have a coupon for sukho Thai, I might take my hardworking man out for a treat there this weekend. Either that or Saffron on the Westbank.

I order it with brown rice instead of jasmine so I can't say much about the rice. The times I've had it, it hasn't been bland, but I have only had it there twice.
I can understand why you're a harsh critic, but I tend to not compare exotic foods made in New York restaurants to ones here in Baton Rouge or New Orleans. Same as I wouldn't compare Cajun restaurants in new orleans to one in Detroit

Green curry is the entree I will get 9 out of 10 times at a thai restaurant. I enjoyed the one at La Thai. Just spiced to perfection when I went last weekend.

Merlin, the chef and co-owner, is friends with my husband so we get a hook-up, but it can be pricey if you're paying full price. I do agree about the staff though. Some good looking young men there.

I will give my vote to La Thai simply because of their hot and sour soup. it is wonderful

Are there any good places nearby for brunch?
Going to Navarre for a wedding later this month and were looking for a spot for sunday brunch.
Any and all suggestions appreciated.
