If TCHS coach knew that is what his players intended to do then it is his responsibility as a coach to make sure that his kids do not get out of hand. They went to that game with 30 plus players. They went there with the intention of fighting. If He knew that and he should have nipped that in the bud before the game started, not warn the other coach.

Rmc this comment that I made above is just added to yours. I agree totally with what u are saying. Lot of ZHS haters out there because we have a successful baseball program. These boys that they are bashing and calling names are wonderful respectable boys and I can say that because I know them all personally.
Zachary has an awesome baseball program. If our program is so bad and our players are so horrible, then why has every senior already signed to play somewhere next year. SMH.
Glad that u can point out what teams do to Zachary all the time.
That is just ridiculous if u believe that rumor. If combat boots are cleats today, then yes they had there combat boots on.
Y'all can call them whatever y'all want because that is yalls right. Most people just wish that there high school team had the record that ours has. They are very good at playing baseball. And that is what this board should be about. Not bashing them.
Funny that u think that way because Zachary police officer was not banned by the LHSAA from future games because he was in uniform. It is in the LHSAA finding so apparently they have jurisdiction everywhere. They take an oath to protect and serve 24/7 wherever they are just like doctors do. Whether they are in their police uniforms or not it doesn't matter.

As someone that was there, words are words. The real altercation was when the Tuerling's player started fighting with Zachary players because he was out and didn't want to get off the field.
If umpires would have had control of the situation the dugouts wouldn't have emptied and the parents would not have had to run on the field to stop a fight that obviously the umps and coaches couldnt stop.
I totally agree with u!! I feel so sorry for these boys, especially the seniors. That board is absolutely heartless!!
