IMHO, the biggest reason we will never ever see an elite defense from any team ever again is b/c QBs are so protected now. Everyone wants offense and high scoring. I've always preferred to watch defenses tee off on qbs and make them scared to drop back b/c they know they're about to be buried. Make their arse quit.

And yes, the targeting rul is a great and necessary rule, but not being able to hit the qb within a step or 2 is just ridiculous. And yes, I get the safety factor for qbs.

I miss the MTAQ defensive games.

With that said, this defense is fun to watch much like watching a roller coaster ride video. My emotions and blood pressure get way up with each play, I lean into curves, raise my hands and someti.es throw up or pass out.

Or like a box of chocolates, sometimes we get the really disgusting coconut chocolates, sometimes its the really good truffle, milk chocolate or caramel, and then sometimes its the amazing turtle bites like that pick 6 last night.

These may be a few dumb questions on my part, but does Pavia/Vandy more closely resemble Castellanos/FSU that played pretty much a perfect game to beat us?

Or Stockton/UGA whose RBs had a field day against us but only the 1 TD pass? Their RBs had long runs but Stockton was held in check and he's also a dual-threat as well correct?

Does Vandy have the RB horses like UGA?

Live in PC, driving 30A is a bit of an issue some days b/c traffic can be brutal on the weekends. While there are some amazing houses there, you cannot see the beach from the road.

Seaside b/c of the Truman Show is neat and has decent food trucks but bring your 401K.

Alys Beach is beautiful, one of my favorite spots but not much to do, just some amazing houses. Great walking spot as there are some hidden statues in the neighborhoods that make it a fun walk.

Not discouraging you from it, just be aware its all traffic and houses. If you do decide to hit 30A, drive all the way down to The Red Bar, good food and music. They have had many impromptu stars play there so you never know.

And I cant believe no one else has mentioned Parlor Doughnuts, you are Canadian after all. ??

PCB isn't too bad either but it is seperate from 30A.

I would also recommend a fishing charter or head boat trip if you really want to see dolphins/sharks and catch some good fish.

Enjoy your stay but try to relax more than drive to see everything. Spend more time here next time and do more. I would recommend sticking around Destin/Pcola tbh.

Same here. I think the last bball player I yelled at prior to tonight was probably Mark Farmer.

Yelling at the tv during football season is expected at my house. Now ball season is yelling season.

Is he playing injured/limited snap count? Or is he deep in the doghouse? I only heard his name once tonight vs. AU on offense, other than kick returns. Disappointing he doesn't get the ball more.

Also agreed, hence why "Discussing" was bold. There's a significant difference in a few that are having hissy-fits and most are actually discussing.

I'm not disagreeing with most of you, Vandy was/is always a bad loss and expressing one's anger/disappointment is understandable. I will say this, Vandy was 0-68 against us, they were due. :lol:

But for the love of God, we will be just fine. We are Alabama. Stop melting for days on end.

Randy Moss is the only other player I've ever watched that makes it look so simple, so easy, so smooth. RW makes the other players look like they've never played football before.

RW is better than RM IMHO so I think the phrase, "he was Mossed" is going to be replaced soon by "he got Hollywooded/Ryan'ed/RW'ed".
