Texas spent the last two years being scared of us in everything so we figured we would let them think they're tough again under Strong. Hopefully it keeps him around awhile.

Nothing is complex about the zone blitz. You sound like those NL baseball purist dorks who think the double switch is some great complicated strategy.
It's meant to disguise pressure and confuse QB reads. Problem is both the "zone" and the "blitz" are susceptible to our designed lateral throws and screens.

Kenny has looked pretty off the past couple weeks but he carved up USCe in a much more hostile environment. And state might be worse against the pass.

I was more afraid of Arky than I am Miss St. Aside from our inability to tackle mobile QBs I think we match up very well with Miss St, mainly our air raid vs that shitty pass defense.

LB and DL are pretty beat up. So basically the only positions where we couldn't absorb losses.

It IS absolutely laughable that we got a 1st place vote. But I don't think we are vastly overrated.

Mutually beneficial and much happier to be in the SEC. Even if utex was the preferred choice, in either scenario WE would be free of those obsessed psychos. But it worked out better for us this way.

I think in 1-2 years the SEC will start to see a very respectable, upper echelon SEC defense from A&M. If you watched the game last night, the three most notable players on our defense (SO Mastrogiovanni, FR Myles Garrett, FR Armani Watts) are all underclassmen. The defensive recruiting is picking up. If we can keep the staff together it's going to be a very good unit.
