re: LSU -16 over Auburn

Posted by Weasel74 on 9/16/13 at 11:41 am
Before you guys go lose all your money - if you are betting the side rather than the over, the only bet to make is either Auburn +17 or a no play. Do you remember the last time we beat Auburn by more than 14 at Jordan Hare? Yeah, me neither, because IT HAS NEVER HAPPENED....

whats scary is that he is going to be bankrupt in three years. You should have seen his paid entourage in vegas with him...
My financial advisor is suggesting I get one instead of funding my child's 529 account. I am reading background information on it but wanted to tap this board's expertise (if any) on this. The insurer is OneAmerica Financial....
What is the point of getting a credit card with a low credit limit? If your credit card number is compromised, your not responsible for the charges anyway. I understand using a cc instead of a check card since they can raid your checking account with your check card and it takes a while to get you...

re: Municipal Bonds........

Just curious, but does muni bond interest income factor in calculation of your AMT? I already have to pay AMT so thinking that, if it does, I get no benefit from buying muni's since it will only increase the amount I owe under AMT....

Also, no reason you should be using credit cards. You sound like you make enough to pay cash for everything. Look at your monthly bills and figure out what your monthly interest payment is. Multiply that by 12 and you'll see how much you're paying a year for the "luxury" of using your credit card...

I am so out of the loop on this, but you guys can now take it part by part? I would have loved that. When I took it in 1996, we had to sit for the whole thing at the same time in the superdome. Got lucky and killed it on the first try though....

Just curious, when you sell short, how long do you have to cover? Does broker charge interest for the time before you cover?...

re: Never pay off your house?

Posted by Weasel74 on 3/10/09 at 1:30 pm
Someone may have already touched on this (I did not read all replies), but the risk with putting your house in a corp. and leasing it back to yourself is bankruptcy. In a worse case scenario and you had to file, your house would not be an exempt asset since it is owned by a corporation. If you liv...

Not a crap load, but I am starting to move back in now on a limited basis. Only buying established companies that are in industries that would not be totally affected by the bad economy (e.g., health care, etc.) with P/E ratios under 8 taking into account their 4q earnings just reported. Even if m...

Those property taxes arent that bad either. Cant compare to Louisiana because Texas has no state income taxes. If you are making $200k in Texas, a $10k property tax bill is better than paying Louisiana income taxes (~$12k on $200k income)....
Looking to fund small at first, probably $1000 and add another $1000 every month or so. Looked at etrade but they will charge me $40 every quarter if I do not initiate a trade. Any suggestions to keep fees down?...
I think it phases out at 75k for an individual and 150k for married filing jointly, so if you're in law school deduction will likely be phased out for you....

Yep, Randizzle was one of the only ones taking Ball State -6.5 and he hit again. Guy is on fire. I am on Georgia Tech and the over tonight, but have not seen a randizzle pick yet....

I have seen most of those, except for Slim's. Where are those? As for NYReb, he has been good in past years but has been pretty inconsistent this year. I think he had an 0-7 week. Seems he picks Ole Miss every week too which has not worked out so well....

No, this guy posts his picks on the bulletin board before all games, no emails. Completely legit but definitely on a very lucky streak. No matter how good you are, you can't keep a record like his without a lot of luck....

You are welcome...... http://www.therxforum.com/showthread.php?t=634492 Not a pay site. These picks have been all documented in the threads. My bankroll of $200 is aleady $1700 from following this guy all year.... He is 71-22-4! Really bothers me that he picked Ole Miss though. I think h...

Not a paysite. All his picks are tracked, the site is therx. com. You can find his old picks in the college football forum and his new ones in the record tracker forum. I started the year just playing around with $200 and starting tailing him in week 3. I am up to $1650 and would be more if I ...

I agree with you on n ill and the under fwiw. So do most of the professional cappers (I absolutely rely on their picks and have turned my bankroll into 8x this year once I quit picking myself since vegas is smarter than me). Have not seen much on the akron game which means it is a no play for me....
