Ben having the ball in the post created the pass.
In regards to TQ not passing to the post, that is exactly what I mean. The guards look at the post, easy pass to it, but they just dribble around the edge with no purposes. Ben and victor are working to get good position when down there... They need the ball. Refs are calling fouls on Aggies down there too. It is the easiest play on the court.
Ben is the only one who tries to pass to victor in the post. If a post man has position, you should get him the ball every single time. Opens everything up.
Hard to draw up a play that scores in just a couple seconds but don't understand why you would leave a timeout unused.

I certainly agree on Victor as well. Just checked the box score and did not realize the impact victor had.
I will give a lot of credit to Buddy H. He either has an uncanny knack of getting open looks or our players did not stick to assignments. Why would the guy defending him help when another plate penetrates?
re: Simmons may become the greatest player in history

If he plays more aggressive we probably win the game. The other thing that really bothers me is when LSU shoots the ball, the entire team is already running back for defense. Nobody tries to angle for an offensive rebound.
I agree with the above post. My real point was that Simmons only attempted 7 field goals. No excuse for that... Played the whole game with no foul trouble.
I am not trying to say TQ is actually the most talented player but he is the only one that appeared to want to fight to win.

Nobody can deny that Ben is way way way way too passive on offense. Plays timid like someone told him not to shoot the ball. Looks to pass and not score. TQ put the ball in the hole.

Anyone watching this game can tell that TQ was the only player that had fire in his belly with a will to play hard.
I will be bashed by Simmons lovers but I did not see near the hustle from him.
TQ was the only one I saw play with heart.

It is true... Announcers talking about it all game. A lot of that is on the coach.

Simmons does not want the ball. Not a winner... Baller but not a winner
Horrible defense and a high school team has better shot selection. Zero movement
One hour after posting, Les is up to 14%. Time for a Rant type surge.

Prior to the season, it was hard for me to believe that we could go through this season undefeated (Oregon, WV, Bama, etc...). After the performance thus far, I am excited at the very real possibility. Very special year for sure!

Stack it until they make us pay... I am sure we will get some big defensive plays before they adjust and get the jitters out.
I don't think it is up to the running backs... each one can take a hit and keep on truckin; depends on line play. I believe the key to stopping TR is whether or not we can touch him in the backfield. We can minimize him if he does not have time to wait on his blockers.
Another key in the game will be how fast we can get to him when they dump the ball to him. If the nerest defender takes too long, he will juke and at least get past the first guy.
I will take our D unit in this game anytime though... my money is on it.

Once done and Miles is accused of being lucky, his response will be: "Lucky? We practice that stuff and executed it as planned... now, back to taking over the world"
re: LSU Fans living in Bama: How Brutal has it been?

Been working in the Birmingham area for 6 years now. In the past, the Gumps were always over the top and ready to bet their life away with extreme confidence. This year, all of the Bama fans at work have been talking smack but also admitting it could go either way. All of my Auburn co-workers are on my side this week; it feels nice since it is usually me against the world 365 days a year.

I went to YouTube and watched TR's runs against Penn State and Tenn. Seems that so many of his yards come from running through wide open holes after waiting on blocks. Can't deny he is really good at this and can certainly shift his body where he needs to be.
I could not help but think on several of the runs, "Mingo would chase him down while he is waiting for those holes". I saw several runs where he basically just hung out in the backfield waiting; hope we can meet him back there.

I have heard that at one time, Memphis' live tiger was Mike V's brother... don't know if it is true or if they still have the same tiger.
