Long time reader, 1st post:

Okay, i tried to sign up Friday morning to relay some of this info but it takes 24 hrs for your account to be activated & i'm just now getting back to it...i know a lot of this has already come out over the wknd. Just wanted to pass on info that came directly from one of the "victims". And understand that this is just one side of the story.

So Friday morning i was at work talking about the bar fight with a few of my co-workers when a lady that works in my office came up and said that her close relative was one of the guys that got beat up by the football players (is how she said it). So of course, i tried to get as much info as i could. She said her close relatives friend was trying to leave the bar in his truck. There were 4-5 people blocking his path. According to her, the players were being arseholes & doing it on purpose. The guy in the truck honked his horn. The players ripped him out of the truck (her words) and all started beating the crap out of him. Then this lady's close relative and another one of his friends went to help their friend in the truck. Then, basically, they got the crap beat out of them. Her close relative said he is 110% sure that JJ was the one who was specifically hitting him. Didn't say anything specifically about JJ kicking someone while their down. Apparently, there was also a 4th guy that tried to help (that the 3 of them did not know) and he also got the crap beat out of him. This must be the marine that others have mentioned.

I do know their names and where they're from, although that is something i def will not post. They are local. The victims were at an attorneys office at noon on Friday and one of the boys had a Cat Scan scheduled later that afternoon. She said they were beat pretty bad. She did say that one of the boys (the driver) had broken bones in his back. Said his spine/verterbrate was injured or broken or something. This was about noon on friday when i was talking to her, so this was early on in all this. Things could've been exageratted or could've changed. I do know she said the driver had "broken bones in his back".
She said that the boys were big LSU fans and that they did not want to press charges or do anything to jeopardize LSU Football. She said the families were pretty upset about it & at least wanted medical bills paid for. Looks like it's now being reported that they def do want to press charges. Guess the parents & attorney won that argument.

Anyway, just wanted to relay the info i got. I know everyone (myself included) is on pins & needles waiting to see what happens.
