wouldnt that be fair to houston? You made it undefeated, they made it undefeated
I can kind of agree with this, but is it really fair for them to have to play against our defense, that seems like more of a punishment.

No it doesn't I'm at work and didn't have time to do all that. I just figured as long as they include ppg and ypg as purely offensive stats i could call this offensive efficiency. Scoring efficiency may be a better wording.

I can agree with that. The point was just that we have not needed the yards to put up impressive numbers on offense whether it was because of turnovers, defense, Brad Wing, or impressive time chewing offensive drives this year.
Either way

LSU Most Efficient Offense
Posted by sv1tigerfan on 11/29/11 at 9:47 am
Thought this was cool so figured I'd share. I got tired of hearing that LSU's offense was lacking in yards per game. There are even people that are saying that UGA has a better offense because they have more ypg than LSU. The problem with the YPG stat is that it does not take the short field into account.
I would like to see someone using offensive ratings by the efficiency of the offense. Since efficiency is measured by amount of work/ amount of result, I put together the following list of yards per point.
The following list uses stats from espn.com LINK to rank the 120 FBS schools by the amount of yards it has taken to score each point. There are other people doing offensive efficiency ratings that are too complex for me.
Any way hope you enjoy....
