NORTHERN ARKANSAS
Posted by ozarkian on 5/26/11 at 7:18 am
Well we have been getting rain for about a week now starting Thursday afternoon. All of our lakes usually used to help with flooding are full. The rain is supposed to end by Sunday. The level at Bull Shoals Lake is 696.06, Table Rock Lake is 934. Top flood elevation is 695 and 931, as you can see they are full. All dam gates are now open. The COE has been reluctant to open them for fear of sending more water down south, but they have no choice now. Not too sure what the latest predictions on the cresting waters there will be.
COE CURRENT CONDITIONS

Bull Shoals Dam 05/24/11
