Not sure what this is all about or even if it is true. May not even be some secretive thing, but that's how it was described to me.

Supposedly some place in the city that is not open on Sundays (or closes for this) has some burger special?

They have food and drinks there.

Never did understand the craze over Jimmy John's. I wasn't in Baton Rouge when they opened, but went up for some football games. One of my friend's insisted that we go get food there Sunday for lunch because it was just so awesome.

I got one of the specials (forgot which one), but it was just average. Maybe even a bit below average.

Anyone doing Taste at the Lake?

I actually meant fast in terms of the season. Like another show might have announced that a guy was scheduled to have a big fight coming up soon on episode 5 and not had the fight until episode 10. Seems like with this show they announce it one episode and have it the next episode without having to draw it out.

But you do bring up a good point about real time, that I had not noticed.

Is this on Netflix Instant if anyone happens to know?

The seasons are, yes. That is how I am watching it.

The movies, I do not know.

I have a feeling we'll see most of the fight in the last episode, but they won't show us who wins.

I have been surprised at how quick things happen in the series. They just started training that Armenian kid, and it seems like the next episode he was fighting. Same thing with Light's most recent fight. Usually shows drag big things like this out.

I'm anticipating us seeing the whole fight, finding out the winner, and then having some sort of surprise after the fight when they end the season.
Did they make the movie during the series run?

ETA: Well, did they release it during the series run, I guess I should say.

And dcrews would u feel better if they say those wins didnt happen? Would u finally sleep at night?

Yea, I don't get the whole vacating wins deal either. Ohio State still won the game on the field.
Nope. Which is why I didn't deny that it happened.

I just said it was doubtful that a group of individuals would come up to your group and punch your friend unprovoked, all because some guys were talking to you.

Hell get his suspension we might forfeit some games don't get what else there is to say.

Awake me when something interesting happens

Are you just saying wake you up when the NEXT interesting thing happens?

Because what's going on now is pretty serious.
Good. I like having story lines that run through many seasons of a show.

Season 1 is pretty much purely monster of the week episodes. When do they start getting more half and half?
I like how he just ignored my logical response to the situation, and instead keeps playing it off like it was no big deal.

The islander females did not like the islander males asking us to dance. It was a very bad and scary scene. The girls, if you can call them that, started throwing drinks on us and one of them up and belted a friend of mine.

All because y'all were sitting there minding your own business and had a few guys ask you to dance?
Right now, I am almost done season 1. Does it continue as a Law and Order type show where they are sent in each week to solve a case, solve it, and that's the end of that episode?

I remember watching some of the later episodes with my parents when the show was airing. I remember the Smoking Man, Skinner, etc. and it really seemed like there was a running storyline for the episodes I was watching. Is that how the show gets later on, or am I just remembering it incorrectly.

Deepthroat pops up every few episodes, but there isn't really much of a continuous story except for Mulder's search for the truth. For some reason I remember my parents getting excited each week to "find out what happens next."

I was going to post a thread about this. Hasn't had too many weekly threads about the episodes.

I enjoy it. Nothing groundbreaking, but there isn't anything else I have to watch on a Tuesday night at 9pm.

I really enjoyed last night's episode. The 4th of July scene was great.

And the David Morse cameo really worked with the episode and the series so far.
Foam machine.

Eh, they are ok. There are really no other options when I'm out there.

Doesn't sound like something I would be interested in.
