Purchased my truck yesterday from Baytown ford. 2014 F150 platinum. After all the rebates got a little over $12000 off of the truck. I think it was worth driving to Texas. Thanks for the help.

That's my biggest question. What will I have to pay when I get back to La? I have a permeant Purple Heart lic plate. So it will just go on the new truck. The prices in Texas are far better then any dealership in La. Thanks

Buying a vehicle in Texas

I know this topic has been talked about a few times on the OB. Can someone give me the pros and cons? Taxes? Is it worth it?
I shot the Winchester ballistic tips out of my A-bolt for a few years. A couple of years ago I was shooting before the season and I couldn't get a group. So I brought a brand new scope and rings, same thing happen. I brought it to gun store and they told me the bullets were/ will warp my barrel. I changed to hornady and after a half box my rifle was in again.

First hunt of the year!!! Good luck guys
I had no emails sent from work to personal. In fact I actually haven't used the system in question since it was totally redone and updated at the beginning of the year. I left today and the new job starts on Monday. I have talked to a few attorneys and they advised me to take the job and do not disclose any information about the old company and I should be good to go.
I plan on talking to the company that offered me the job about the situation. From most of the lawyers I have talked to, as long as I don't disclose information about the company I should be ok. But anyone can sue anyone so that is the only problem in this case. But it would be really hard for them to prove I disclosed any information. I'm also filing a complaint with the EEOC about the threat that was shown towards me. So maybe that will cool his jets.
I understand what your saying. But I'm not taking anything with me. Just the experience I have. I have no plans to train anyone or give the company any information on the equipment. I'm just going to be like the other 10 guys that have excepted the job. They have a set training program that I have to go thru.
That's exactly what I did. They asked and I told them the truth. I have no information or computer for them to go through.
Fred your exactly right. I'm trying to avoid any legal action all together. I haven't spoken to the new company about this yet.

I never had any intention of using the previous employer stuff to preform the other job. I was hired just like any other person, that would have to go through the training for the job.
It's In La. I have nothing with which to do with this system. No documents, USB or anything on paper.
I will look up his patent and see if I can find anything. I had nothing to do with the development of it. It was already created when I got there. I'm 'was trying to leave on good terms and be honest with them. Not hide anything and not take anything with me when I left. I have no customer contacts I have no emails with any names or phone numbers. I'm just looking to do more work and make more money.

When I start at this company they are going to train me just like every other person they are hiring.

Thanks
If you think this is bad, wait til he comes after you for his dumb property,

??????
It's a system used to do testing. Both company's came out with the product around the same time. And he said he has it patent on it, I'm not sure if he does or not. He did say he warned them that they were infringing on a patent. I have only used the equipment, I don't know anything about the design of it. I had know idea it was this deep until after I have my notice about leaving.
I think also think it's unreasonable. But I don't want to be in a legal battle if I don't have to.
Haha!! If the conversation went that way that would be great and I would have no reason to ask a question to this board!! Cause I would be busy trying to figure out what to do with my money. Un fortunately it didn't. And I trying not to get my arse in between two companies with a lot more money then I have and being stuck in the middle of a legal battle. I want the other job but trying to weigh my options and figure out the best way to go about it. Thanks anyway
Different lawyers say different things. Just seeing if anyone has been through this before.
