Who are you and what are you talking about?

I'd be okay with that in the 3rd round, especially if we grab Nevis in the 1st round... they'd be comfortable playing with each other, that's for sure

ORLY nobody could tell.

Well Hulk, from the looks of these message boards, this Simpkjo guy is a moron, so please do not lump me in. I just joined today and I'd prefer to not have my reputation crushed. I actually know what I'm talking about. lol

The problem with AU is they don't need to throw the ball to score 50 on you. They just run right over you.

What do you call LaMichael James, the top RB vote-getter for the Heisman this season? Both teams rely on running the football to win more than passing it.

Like I said, McIntosh isn't a star, but he's solid, and would come at a much cheaper price tag than guys like Woodley (who isn't going to leave the Steelers anyway)

as well as a DE that can get to the QB

I agree, I had DE and OT listed as secondary needs behind DT and OLB

If a deal can be worked with Pierre and he can come back 100% I think we have what we need in house at running back. I like Ivory to handle the 4th quarter role that Bell handled last season.

Agreed to an extent, but we've now seen what happens if one of them goes down. I think we need to add to that core unless we expect Ivory to absolutely break out next season.

I am so confused... who is Simpkjo?

Oregon can be a second half team but if they get down by even 10 in the first half you can count them out. AU will score 40 or more in this one.

Don't forget that Auburn's had their fair share of come from behind wins too. Oregon's offense might be too potent for the Tigers to stage another comeback if they fall behind early.

I agree, OLB is a HUGE need. What about Rocky McIntosh? He's not a star, but he's definitely solid; drafted in 2006 with Gregg Williams as Washington's D-coordinator, so he'd be comfortable here; it makes sense. Sign him, then draft one in the 3rd round (doesn't look like there will be one available in the first 2 rounds that wouldn't be considered a reach, unless someone happens to fall unexpectedly far).
...? Just wanted to see what everyone thinks the Saints' biggest needs are. I think it's definitely DT and OLB, but I know some people will argue RB...

Auburn has Cam Newton and they are the best team.

I don't think Auburn's "team" is better. They have the best player in Newton, and another dynamic playmaker on their D-line in Fairley, but Oregon has the more talented team overall, and I think they're better coached.
I think tonight's game is going to be eerily similar to the USC/Texas game 5 years ago when you had the best player, like UT's Vince Young ($Cam Newton this year) against the best "team", USC (Oregon this season). I think Oregon wins, but it may be just like that USC/Texas game... last team with the ball wins.
I wish I knew, but they don't release that kind of information. May as well assume not many, so that more people are driven to buy them!

He averaged over 5 yards per touch

...You do realize that if you incorporate receiving totals, that's not impressive at all, right? I'm not saying he "has to give his money back" or anything stupid like that, but there's no doubt that he didn't "earn" what he was paid this season.
We need 14,932 per game for the last 5 home games in January in order to prevent the Hornets from being able to opt out of their lease with the New Orleans Arena. Here are plenty of reasons to want to go to the games (written right before the last home game on Jan. 5th)! New Orleans NEEDS this team to stay. GEAUX HORNETS!

Time to Look Towards the Future...

I don't know about you guys, but I'm tired of getting frustrated with this weekend's loss. Some people have mentioned it in passing, and they're 100% right - with no RBs, there is no WAY we would have beaten the Bears, who give up the 2nd fewest yards per rush attempt in the NFL... allow the 3rd lowest opponent's QB rating in the NFL... not to mention play in a possible Chicago snowstorm. It's time to look towards next season; if we make a few key upgrades, we'll be legitimate Superbowl contenders again. I don't know what you guys think, but I think DT and OLB are our biggest needs, followed behind by DE, OT, and RB. Hey Drake Nevis, feel like sticking around Baton Rouge/New Orleans for a while longer?
