How do you serve it? Do you slice bread in the bottom of the pan? I am cooking for 50-60 and want to make sure it stays warm and crunchy.

Just got a brand new cast iron pot w/ enamel and the rim of the pot and lid do not seem to be coated. Does that part need to be oiled like a normal cast iron? Whats the best method for cleaning?

It does suck that I am in PA but I'm trying to make the best of a shitey situation and the couch isn't the answer!
