Not sure why the poster focused on the OSU game as Johnson was "hurt" for all 6 of their opening games

A&M would have another win instead of a loss.
They would have made it to the Big 12 title game.
Only game during that time where they had no chance was the Missouri game.
Arkansas didn't throttle them either
First of all I just want to say I can't wait for the CB. Should be a great game. It's nice to find a board that actually talks football.
The reason the poster was referring to the OSU game is because Johnson threw a horrible pick (his fourth of the game, Tannehill only has 3 in six games ) in the closing minute of the game. Johnson over threw the receiver so badly it looked like he intentionally threw it to the defender. OSU gets a first down and kicked the winning FG.
Just to add a little clarification to the Aggie season, a season of two halves.
A&M switched to a 3-4 D under first year coordinator Tim DeRuyter. In the Arky and OSU games the D was still adjusting. Playing better that last year, but still adjusting no doubt.
Everything clicked for the D following the Mizzou game. Other than a poor first half against Baylor, The D has played at a completely different level. Much can be attributed to Von Miller having worked though his injury and finally playing at 100%.
Add to that -
Sherman benching Johnson and going with Tannehill
Cyrus Gray running for over 100 in the last six games
The two red shirt fish tackles coming into their own
... and what you really have is a team that truly is a completely different team than what Arky, OSU and Mizzou saw. On both sides of the ball.
I'm not too much of a homer and have actually picked the Tigers to when a tight game. It's just hard for me to get past our record against SEC teams. However, this is the best D we have had in over a decade, so I'm giving us a fair chance. The D finally plays aggressive football and is exceptional at confusing opposing QB's. If your QB gets rattled easily, he will no doubt be rattled by DeRuyter's D.
See you in Dallas
