It's a Whoop! It's how Junior and Seniors express excitement--although the exact implementation is different for the two. Sophomores make pistols with their hands and say, aaa, aaa, aaa while "firing the pistols" downward. Freshmen throw both hands in the air and yell aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
We'll be meeting again soon.
What's past is in the past, but so you know, your buddy's buddy did the equivalent of peeing on a soldier's grave. The grass of which you speak is part of the Memorial Student Center which is a memorial to Aggies who gave their lives in WWI and WWII (it's since been expanded to other wars). But, plenty of A&M students (hard to call them Aggies) walk on the grass.
