Burgersmith has about 8 items on their menu. It's not necessarily upscale. It's more like Raising Cane's if Todd Graves were to chose burgers instead of chicken. Small menu and make what you serve taste really great.

Im sure it would be out of town touring acts being brought in. There are bands that aren't big enough to play at Varsity that could still pull 400 people, where will they play? Nowhere because if they're not hipster enough, Spanish Moon or Chelsea's won't book them. So they skip Louisiana in tour booking. People from BR drive to New Orleans or even Houston to see shows all the time.
If they could pull off all ages shows like the caterie did, there's an even bigger market. Kids spending daddy's money? Goldmine.

i believe that's being turned into a frat bar last I heard. This place is supposed to be over on College. I'm a local musician, I'd like to see it happen. Spanish Moons the only other place really left besides.....Clicks.

Someone told me today a new bar/restaurant was opening up around LSU that would have live music 7 days a week. What are you guys thoughts on this? Will it work?
