I don't know if it's the last one I've cried to, but Rudy gets me every time.

Okay, are we for certain that MIB = Smoke Monster = Locke = Evil? Because something with that doesn't sit right with me. Maybe I'm forgetting something; if so, please let me know.

We see a lot of smokie in the beginning of the series, but then it is mostly forgotten, right? There's no mention of it by Whidmore's group during the time travels, nor do they seem afraid of it. If the Others are protective of Jacob, then wouldn't the smoke monster try and take them out?

Also, the monster hangs out by the temple. The same hole that Hurley leads the group through with Sayid last week is the same hole where the monster appears and attacks the French group. It was also in the episode with Ben and his daughter last season. Same temple?

So, what if the monster is good and Jacob is bad/evil? Who has Jacob ever helped? Just my thoughts.

Go to a restaurant supply store - they have everything you need. The equipment is relatively inexpensive and will last a lifetime.
Quaid as Doc Holiday in Wyatt Earp was awesome. First time I saw it I caught after it had started and had no idea who that was...

Green chili recipe

Does anyone have a good recipe for green chili? I used to live and Colorado and it's pretty popular there, but I never got hold of a recipe...

All of my cooking equipment is purchased from restaurant supply stores. It's all aluminum, professional strength, takes a beating, will last forever, and is relatively cheap. I do have some cast iron skillets and such, but everything else is bought from Cayard's or any place like that. You can buy what you want when you need it.

After using the stuff every day for years in restaurants, I can't think of using anything else.

Yeah, what he said.

The recipe in my CIA cookbook is simpler than that, but I have no idea where it's at...

A demiglace is simply beef or poultry stock that has been reduced down to a consistency where it can be spread with a knife. Try dipping pita or french bread in it and eating.

Actually, I believe you are thinking of a glace de viande, which is reducing a gallon of stock down to about 8 oz.

A true brown demi-glace contains beef stock and espangnole sauce (beef stock, tomato and roux), and is reduced by half. I don't remember exactly how it's done, but I'll look through my books and find the recipes.
Full Metal Jacket when they meet Gunny Hartman for the first time. That movie came out two weeks before I left for bootcamp...

We just finished season 3, and when starting season 4, I mistakenly put the second disk (starting with episode #4) in. We watched the 4th and 5th episodes and were like 'WTF?!' before we realized I screwed up... Funny thing is that we were going along with it just saying, "Hey, it's Lost."
